PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD, SINGAPORE - TOUR OF NEW LUXURY, SUSTAINABLE HOTEL (inc. Beach Club Loft)

I've just come back from a stay at the new Pan Pacific Orchard hotel in Singapore. It's a new luxury, sustainable and VERY green hotel (both literally and environmentally) and it's quite incredible - they've even built a forest, beach, waterfall and garden within the high-rise structure itself. I mean, what other building in the world has built a forest, beach and garden within it? My accommodation was in a swish duplex Beach Club loft and this video offers a tour and inside look of this room as well as the whole hotel. The patio doors in my room open onto the swimming pool area (aka beach) - I have my own floating sofa as well as direct access to the pool. This video also looks at the hotel's green-themed cocktails (I drink an amazing one called Garden) as well as the food, both in the main restaurant Mosella as well as the afternoon tea served on Wedgewood China. I look at the beach, forest, garden and cloud environments in the hotel as well as looking at what to do nearby. This includes the Singapore's UNESCO World Heritage Botanic Gardens which you can walk to from the hotel - and which has the most amazing orchid garden which has more species of orchids than anywhere else in the world. It's here that I capture some incredible David Attenborough-style footage of two monitor lizards mating (it begins with the male chasing the female and catching her). Another thing worth doing in Singapore is to visit the Observation Deck at the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel which is 56 floors up and has the most incredible skyline views...
Both Singapore and this hotel are amazing - go if you can. I can't wait to go back to Singapore and really hope I do make it back there one day.
