Thank you - this has brought down the temperature of my XPS, and the fans no longer go wild after opening a few tabs in chrome.
However, since opening up the laptop the trackpad no longer works as effectively. About 5% of the time, even though I hear and feel a click when I press the trackpad, no click is registered. Do you have any idea what the issue might be and how to fix it?

I"m aware that cleaning the fans is very beneficially to keep the laptop running well a properly cooled. But what benefit is there for replacing Thermal Paste?

Thermal paste gets hard and loses it's thermal transfer properties over time. Cleaning and replacing with a quality paste is hugely beneficial to transferring the chip's heat to the copper plate.

Hi there. Thx for the video. My 9560 has two GPUs. Internal intel and Nvidia. Do i have to put thermal paste to both? Where are in the motherboard? Am i ok putting the paste to only these two spots you showed on video? Regards

Why are you using thermal paste on this laptop it's an M2 drive and does not require it as it generates less heat compared to other SSD types. They rely on the motherboard’s built in thermal pads or heatsinks for cooling not thermal paste. Ridiculous.

The thermal paste will even out the surface of the graphics card and processor chip. Due to the thermal paste the heat sink makes better contact with those chips and can transport the heat away better. The m2 drive ist located in the lower left area of the laptop above the hard drive. But even m2 drives produce a far amount of heat why you should consider putting a thermal pad on it.

@@victorgorklo2180 No need for thermal paste As i said the m2 drive does not require it, the motherboards thermal pads and heat sink has cooling.
