That's what I respect the most about you Aug, not only are you gifted with excellence in the trees. But most importantly you are not ashamed of Gospel of Christ. ✝️💪 My moddo "Christ's Servant Live or Die" 44 years now by God Faithfulness.
Amen brother
Amen
Have my soul giggled again. I have those days where every step I take is a new experience in pain. My back gave out years ago after being in construction for 25 years. As a carpenter with respect to your job, I see a lot of 2x4's being cut by you & your team. You know We get most of Our lumber from Germany now. Great video from 1 camera.
Nice job as always I love watching you guys work. The talent and I love when Jeff the silent slayer or Damien are in another tree beside you. The coordination and professionalism......you have a great team!
That kit and harness you sell looks like it makes life so much nicer in the air. One day hopefully I'll be getting them.
Tried filming a pine removal, had 3 hours of video. After editing bloopers and poor climbing techniques, I had a single still shot. Best I leave youtube alone. Appreciate all you do
Haha at least you know what proper fluidity SHOULD look like. The smoothness of workflow in our minds often doesn’t match reality. And social media waits to pounce on the first perceived defect.
After many years of watching it was great to meet you. Mason Farley with Mastiff Lawn&Tree Care of Daniels,Wv
Adam is the man for sure handling those bundles. Those kind of job give us ability to use our bags of tricks , learning videos are worth your time over and over . Stay safe and enjoyed the deer sighting .
Love it 6mins in “if I were in a different state boom I’m in the top” lmao I love that ride to the top
Hands down Hunicke is the Goat💯💯💯 Aloha From Hawaii brother🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Awesome video and beautiful pictures! Hello from Finland! I'm just a hobbyist tree climber, but I've tried to learn some filming tricks and techniques from your videos. Thanks for all your hard work!
the best teachers are teachable. that's going to stay with me
Adam’s the man! That run on the top was great.
That welcome home picture warms the heart
This was great,August. I love watching you in your natural habitat doing what you do...including the whole team. These are the types of videos I've always loved.
Great video! I really like your channel. I love the honesty!
Great 1 camera vid August. Thank you.
Yes this Video to show how important a Profi equip by Your Work is. But You Master, the equip self to make. On a little Mangle to react upon and a new and better You make. Happy Thanksgiving to all! August, some observations and a question. Your head is always on a swivel, your footwork is fun to watch, you are a great boss - always complimenting and watching out for the guys, you look to be entirely comfortable moving around that tree - made for this, some of your moves - looking back over your shoulder to watch a cut you are making on the opposite side of the tree - are just too awesome, your precision when cutting so close to the ropes puts me in a little panic, really great camera work! I was really studying your helmet and its design. Any chance you could do a video explaining the design functions and their relevance to tree work and safety? It sure ain't no motorcycle helmet! Thanks for all you do.
Its a pfanner protos. Google them they are great helmets for our industry but also couple other uses. People like the fact the ear defenders slide under the helmet
I love the voice-over!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Sir! As well as Damion, Jeff, Adam and everyone at the MB factory.
I got a GoPro 9 and I've been filming my work just got a laptop and start editing some videos. You have inspired me!
Unreal! What a pro! You couldn't pull a needle out of my ass with a tractor if I tried this.
Sucks that I couldn’t go see you guys at the TCI convention! I had to work! Hopefully next year I’ll be able to see you guys! I’m in South Carolina around the beach area working for Mr. D’s trees and landscaping. My daughter has the same birthday as your son! She really wanted to come see you and Damian! She loves watching you guys and she’s 4 years old. Loves telling people her daddy climbs trees! Haha happy thanksgiving 🦃! Y’all boys take care and be safe! 💯💪🏼
Nice job on that top Adam!!!
Many thanks August for such excellent production and fun arborist work! Love the product line!
Happy Thanks Giving to you, family and crew!
Happy Thanksgiving! I just bought a bunch of Petzl gear to start my journey climbing trees. You are an inspiration! Thank you for the content
Always love your videos, you inspired me to start my Chanel a year and a half ago, I really enjoy making them and editing the videos
Thank you for all the time you take to teach and share your skills, I heard a saying once “ the greatest of kings can learn from the lowest of servants” . You are right the best teachers are teachable
Happy thanksgiving!!!
I’m pretty sure I heard that saying in bad trees 3 from a very wiseman
Bonjour August un grand merci pour vos conseils vos vidéos car vous êtes très efficace tout en calculant le risque beaucoup d intelligence vraiment super encore merci🎉
And it maybe the fact that I'm a fan of everything MB and not a tree climbing expert by nature, but where's the battery saws? LOL AS I TYPED THAT YOU COMMENTED on that exact thought....cool to see I noticed it as you addressed it. I just love your channel, August. Thanks for sharing again. YT MISSES YOU!
Very good video, August....I rally liked the guitar music you played near the end. Thank you!
Great videos. I've learned a lot and you have really inspired me in my climbing career to go from good , to great.
Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your family and friends!
Happy Thanksgiving! I like the climbing rope bag idea. Good Christmas present!
Great video! Happy thanksgiving to you and all your crew and families! Stay safe and warm this season!
Happy Thanksgiving August and crews.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family August and the crew It is amazing to see those giant logs floating through the air Having that crane saves a lot of time and energy for sure
thank you as always for the amazing ride along video , Happy thanksgiving
Cold..... took a couple trees down Monday with the day starting at 21°. 🥶
Definitely don't want to stop moving on days like that. I appreciate you
taking the time to explain your techniques with videos like this one. And
I agree 100% about using one camera. Pretty much everything I get video
of is just one GoPro. I'm just not real talkative like you, I only "document"
my work..... not to mention your amazing editing skills. 😁
Another great video watching the MonkeyBeaver crew gettin' it done.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! 🦃
Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🌲
Randy
You get some really amazing views in the top of those trees. Happy Thanksgiving.
That reminds me of the video lunch time with the tree man sardines crackers and little treats from Germany yeah I do have my passport
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the crew!
Great job August.... You do it right.
45:44 mike drop moment 🙂. Thanks for all you do August .
I love these tree "services", more like Residential Loggers. When was the last time anyone these operations:planted, pruned, trimmed, fertilized, screw rodded, and/or cabled a tree ? This is tree service, not just cutting down a tree.
Our company does loads of tree pruning, tree training, cabling, planting, consultation etc. but the channel is about tree removal. Always has been.
Happy Thanksgiving to yall and yalls family's.
Awesome job! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Hello
Thanks for all your videos and teaching. Would be great to see the progress of adding (hooking up) your climbing to the tree and your process. I want more info on using a second line either as a second lanyard or as a drs or srs. Keep going!
Good job sawrus nice 👍
Happy Thanksgiving to your crew, their families and you and your family . Also to all the viewers
Very nice work by all.
Stay safe
Happy Thanksgiving!
"if I was in a different state I'd ride the hook up.... Through the miracle of editing I am in the top of the tree" 😂😂😂
Love it saves lot of mess to. Thanks
I have my monkey beaver saddle 2.0 today
Yes!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Dang! I hate I missed the expo. I live in NC. I remember hearing last year that it was in NC this year but completely forgot.
I sure wish I had known you were going to be in N.C. I would have come down to see you!
I'm just north in VA.
Nice top Sir
You all have great thanksgiving
Establish dominance by tossing kit at ground crew... noted
Boy that tree had some girth even 100ft up.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family August.
Do you have the ability to set your DRT Omni block from the ground ?
I've never climbed DRT. But I always set my climb line from the ground.
I do a lot more pruning than I do tree removals. I would like to try DRT with my zigzag and my scandere rope.
Also: Is your zagwrench tether of no practical use on your DRT ?
(btw: this was another great instructive video. Repetitive instructions are very useful to people's memories)
Thank you!
As always great video and explanations! What size Omniblock are you using here?
Remember, airspace is federally regulated. The state doesn’t have jurisdiction once you leave the ground! 😆
Happy Thanksgiving!
I have only Southern Pines on my property and they are a pain in the "Butt"! Always limbs down and pine needles all over the place.
😄 I'll get ready to have my soul jiggled again
Happy Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for. Great video an Great explanation. How tall was that tree? Looking at it through the camera it looked about 5000 feet😆. Just curious. Thanks again for another great one 👍
Gonna get the Reon hoodie all pitchy. Hate when ya love a hoodie or shirt and promise yourself you wont work in it, then 2 weeks later ya cant help it.
thanks for the video! how big is the rope with Omni Block?
Enjoyed the video. Really entertaining and informative. What size Omni block were you using to top and chunk? Seems rope may have been a little big for it???
Ya small one
Nice video, appreciate the time you take to inform other professionals and elevate the education that's available. Who mods your saws?
I’ve got no official modder
Happy Thanksgiving. What top handle saw are you running in the tree? Sounds like it's tuned up right.
So August when you do the bundle and delivery what do you have on the end of the rope that stops the branches from coming off you have like a carabiner tied on and then you cut the rest and it catches them I didn't catch that part thank you so much God bless buddy
After using the modified 150 - is it similar to your Echo? Happy Thanksgiving. Loved your motorcycle church outfit-especially the shirt…the message was on point. A teacher that is teachable…insures continued learning. I also enjoy the wisdom of leaders who hire smarter people than they are…humbling as it may be…it insures as a leader you are always inspired to learn, improve, perform - pushing you to lead with more integrity…I know you belong to that camp…great rewards come from that…
you're a wise hombre
Happy Turkey day August and Crew And RUclips
Any chance you fellas will be producing the friction saver you climb with for retail?
What determines when you can or cannot ride the block? I have heard different people mention it but never a clear explanation if there is one. Lol
My guess if there were power-lines present
State safety regulations..... different rules state to state.
So I notice you use a carabiner when rigging tops or any part of the tree for that matter. May I ask what type of steel carabiner you use? And what is your above when using them such as limitations if you've found any?
Very good, I'm not really into voice over though.
I have a question? I know nothing about your job other than what i see on you tube. When you have a job like this one and the crane is being used on other trees and you making bundles and send them straight down,,, would it be possible to build bundles and leave them up in the tree and as time allowed use the crane to pick them and take them directly to the chipper.
What chain saw is the one you were using cutting the small branches sir?
August how long is your flip line and what’s the brand?
Haha ‘if I was in a different state I’d ride the hook up here’ 🧐
What are you using for adjustable bridge?
With the help of modern machines I'm in the top of the tree lol
I watch tree videos without narration all the time. Of course yours is the best and if you have to work and you can't talk over the noise that's more than the acceptable to the rest of us. By the way I enjoyed the flying videos too are you gonna make more?
Yep thanks
Yes, my brother has all your gears in Australia, Brisbane Virtue trees🪓🌲🪵🤙🤙😊
You are doing awesome videos! May i ask what Gopros are you using and which models have worked the best? Cheers from cold and white Finland.
I like 8 black and 10 black
@@AugustHunicke Thanks for the answer! Thinking of buying 8 black gos its a little cheaper. Hoping to get better footage on tree removal videos. On the really really cheap cameras sound guality is awful, 200t doesnt sound good and that is a bummer for a gas chainsaw fan like i am
Thank you for the tips on the use of the GoPro at 12 minutes yeah I'm still not the greatest editor but I get the job done usually I'll just take pictures after the jobs done sometimes before and after pictures sometimes no pictures at all sometimes I just hustle hustle hustle and do my paperwork and get out but most of the time I'm the guy with a rake climbers got to do his part
Hi August, just wondering why you favour a block over a ring at the top when drop things.
I don’t really favor anything you will see different things happening as the videos come
what are the mods on your 150 besides the bar?
I have a question august. How do you manage the extra rope on the adjustable bridge. I find myself spiking it already.
Ya, I put it through a biner on my right side
Man that stinks that you aren’t in a different state to ride the ball up… 😜
My way of looking at is when your getting get off the ground you are no longer in that state lol 😅😅😂
It then becomes my state …
My state of mind it funny how different states have different regulations Like we’re I am stupid CT doesn’t recognize the same arborist test as the rest of the country basically they have there own Wich is basically all the same info and rules but you can’t come from out of state an be certified it doesn’t sound like a big deal but if you live the state line it makes it super difficult cause you need to get 2 different certificates to be totally legal even tho I’m only working 15 min up the rd lol . Basically it just all about money so I hav one certificate that cover ct one for the majority of the rest of country
August: newbie here, so sorry for the dumb question. Are you using a Yale Scandere rope with an MRS system? Yale says the Scandere is for SRT
Ya. I do whatever I want 🤷🏼♂️😁
Quick question, how far away from the base of the taller tree were you? It looks about 40 feet but was just wondering and the crane is 127 tall right?
Crane is 100
I, also, really like the bundle and deliver but, once, an other climber (much better than I) was a little concerned about the biners hitting together. What do you think (or anybody)? Thanks
P.S: maybe you already said something about it somewhere and I didn't catch it...
Clack those biners all day long. Clack clack clack done.
@@AugustHunicke Hahaha I will keep on clacking, then.
My issues is editing August, what software do you use and what resources helped you learned to edit? I thought the go pro Quik app was going to be way more legit so now I just have raw GoPro footage and not sure what to do next!
Thanks!
