They are some random tiny ball bearings left to me by an old friend when he passed away. They are for aircraft gyroscopes. He repaired aircraft gyroscopes.
To be fair, Foucault's Gyroscope was suspended from a torsion wire, which is as friction free as it gets. Many Gyrocompasses/Surveying Gyroscopes still employ this design, paired with a detwisting mechanism.

Foucault's one did have bearings. Admittedly I don't know what type but it would definitely have bearings of one type or another.
Quick update. Foucault used knife edge bearings so yes he used bearings.
So why dont we reply Foucault wire and knife ? 🤷 In 165 years nobody had the balls to do it
