They are not legally allowed to as it is company property.

I don't understand how come the big electronics are thrown into the dumpsters and not recicled. In our country if you have tv, oven, washing machine or other big electronics you have to call some special cars .

@@fishypie Oh you’re talking about competition.. I told him to keep this one extremely hidden as possible as it always pays off, maybe it’s in a retail park or a traders industrial estate and that is why the competition is extremely low amongst other divers
Because no-one is meant to take anything without permission I think. The stuff still technically belongs to the shops (to me the equivalent would be someone going to your home and raiding your bin. It's stuff you don't want but it's still yours.) If store bins are on public walkways/land then it's maybe ok (or so I've read recently but don't take this as legally binding or gospel as I'm just a layperson! I'd do this in a heartbeat if I thought it could be done without a follow-up knock on the door!!!🤗
so by your logic then if i return an item to a shop for a refund because its faulty i get my money back or a replacement after that i still own the item i returned!!! NO. do you not think the store claims a refund as well from the manufacturer or there supplier and claims the tax back before they throw the item in the bin, or if there's a flood or items get damaged in transit the store claims back the loss on there insurance you think the store still owns it after they get paid out!! NO NO NO. i can take what i want from the bin its not the shops property and the waste companies dont want illegal waste in there general waste bins so they are not going to stop me. perhaps you should look at the bigger picture here its these companies who are breaking the laws on waste its them sending perfectly good and useful items to landfill not me i just document it and save it.
