I think we can attribute this, possibly, to the lack of Fujoshi magnets that doomed Attack on Titan and Black Butler. compound lack of early mainstream attention, and here we have something long and stable. now I say early because of Nintendo's "Azure Reflections" but it may not have too much of an effect. I am just speculating of course.
