Yes! I’m so thrilled you got more of the red sides garters! I’ve never seen such beautiful snakes before. When I saw the first one you got I started looking them up and couldn’t believe the colors and patterns on them! I hope you do lots of updates and info videos on them! 💙❤️

A lot of them aren't that pretty.There all a bit over saturated, except a few. But those few are the most buetiful snakes out there

@Trey They feel very cool and supple and smooth, like really soft textured leather. Smell... not much from the snake itself. Very faintly like a birdcage? I think the poop has a pretty strong dirty-birdcage smell, but I haven't been around them very much.
Can you do a video about prehistoric giant snakes (Gigantophis, Titanoboa, etc...) and modern-day giant snakes (African Rock Python, Reticulated Python, Anacondas, etc...) And compare the two.

Addicted 2 Anime He has horrible husbandry though. I refuse to support him until he stops cramming his snakes into tiny bins. Makes me sick to see it. Even his large snakes are in enclosures more suitable as a hide than their permanent enclosure.
Addicted 2 Anime I personally don't trust Brian on his reticle info because o my knowledge he doesn't have an actual degree or study in reptiles which means he gets his info off the internet which is not very reliable for animal info
I'm so glad you are working with egg eating snakes again! My first snakes were egg eating snakes so I really want to get one in the future. I only want captive bred snakes though so I'm glad you guys are around!
Do you think they're good starter snakes? I'm deciding on either a hognose or an egg eater.
@@rounddcat Try watching Clints reptiles as he has a top five snakes for beginners :) and he explains a little about the snakes, I think they said that egg eaters are probably for a medium level keeper, not a beginner. But there are many snakes that are suitable for beginners. He has one top five reptiles for beginners, one five best snakes and one five best snakes with Emily on his channel. Hope this helps.
Yeah the one thing with them is it can be hard to find eggs to eat for smaller ones and sometimes they just don't seem to pick up how to eat the eggs. One of mine had to be syringe fed his entire life. Also my parents were responsible for most of the care at the time because I was very young.

Kimberly Westbrook Have you seen the San Francisco Grater Snake? Unfortunately they’re illegal to keep in the U.S.. The fact that they’re so protected is contributing to why they’re so endangered. No captive breeding programs and it’s illegal to touch them. It makes me really sad bc I live in the SF Bay Area and I can see their habitat shrinking by the month. They are heckin beautiful, even more than Red Sideds

try with a ball python, corn snake, or sand boa first. tree snake are not good beginner snakes.

You might want an egg eating snake instead if that's the case. They don't have teeth!
Egg eating snakes dont have teeth and in my opinion are easier to feed!
Tree snakes also tend to like to strike more and be more territory driven then most other snakes. I can't count how many times mine got me while my boa only had to be dislodged once and it was because I spooked her while cleaning her tank other wise that girl woul just drape her self over my shoulders and sleep the day way
