"My dad is black.."
"I don't care about that."
lmao.
tnargtnarud lol that was the best line.."I dont care about that..." haha
HAHAHAH IM DYING OVER HERE
I fell the fuck out
NY is so F-Smart!
😭😭😭😭😭😭
"If you are black, and you're Standing in it, Stand in it IN ALL SHADES!"
Tiffany New York Pollard That part!
Tiffany is one of the most quote able women that this has got to be BY FAR my favorite quote from her.
This made me respect her even more.
Sandi Richard that was iiiiit the besttttt
i effine agree! sorry "laura" (im black) please girl. youre white on the inside, a proud black woman would never bring up skin tone......ESPECIALLY for light skin tone. my mouth dropped. Girl, how many people are crying, SCREAMING to be heard and represented in the media better, dark and beautiful. and you make a comment where the lighter skin people at!?!? you must be missing some IQs for real.
Laura : ignorant : biracial : confused
"He's licking AZZ again!" Tiffany has always been real since day one! I stand strong with Tiffany (New York!) Pollard as a light skinned Black Woman!!!💯
I walkways thought why no one was talking about her saying that to him
That was the quote for me 😭🤣✨✨✨✨👌🏾👌🏾
“My dad is black” is like saying my best friend is black 😂 you’ll get the same answer every time “I don’t care about that”
Exactly and the fact that the rest of them are laughing like she is saying something crazy is ridiculous to me
Right, wtf does "my dad is black", even "my kids are black"? Wouldn't the correct response be, "I'm black?" And that's why Tiffany dog walked that panel. My girl! 🙌🏼
Exactly what got me pissed is the two dark skins on the show (Jennifer and the bald head guy) was defending her comment like she wasn’t referring to them. Wake up!
No because she’s black lol it’s half of her dna makeup
@@shay529 lol both of my sisters and mother are chocolate and I would never disrespect anyone darker than me. And I’m sorry but if somebody said that shit around me I’m dragging they mixed ass
“Stand in it...in all shades!”
Come through Tiff!
angel lu
YES!🤗
angel lu she pronounced that shit in bold letters
YAAAAAAS
That's gospel right there,👏🏾
angel lu yessss hunni! She is so correct!
There goes the black woman. Standing her ground, on her own once again👏🏾
Who were supposed to be her allies? The two gay dudes or the other half breed? Black men are to blame for the company she keeps? FOH!
Eric Brooks what does sexuality have to do with race?
@@princewins88bw He's clearly sexist
@@transakira And stupid.
A darker skinned black woman at that
She was being a colorist. And she knows she was.
rite she wasnt jokin.
It was a joke. Lighten tf up.
@@BoobooPie_91 wether it was or wasn't shee doesn't know her like that. The comment was controversial and already has negative stigmas around it .
She even questioned herself for saying it. Hello?? Cause it felt wrong cause it was wrong.
She’s not a good joke teller lmao. That’s the real issue here
With how sensitive this subject and situation is, it’s embarrassing that no one had Tiffany’s back… “Stand in it, in all shades!” ❤️
i agree
The fact that they were trying to defend Laura is exactly what’s wrong with the black community. I’m glad New York stood her ground
What's wrong?
Nina Hndz if you don’t know then this conversation isn’t for you.
New York is one of the best checkers I know! She laid it down...simple as that.
You can expect black males in a biracial woman to have Tiffany's back they are beneficiaries of colorism so of course they wouldn't care. Tiff is the only full black woman on the stage. Dark skin black men will cape for the Laura's of the community.Benzino is a mixed man himself so he don't have a dog in the fight.either. Tiffany got them all together I wish they was real black women on the show to back her up but she handled that.
Cuz she mixed
hate her or love her new York was right!
+caitlan dunn I agree !
EXACTLY. Now she does and says a whole lot of crazy but THIS time she made sense and was absolutely correct. Some of us only want to claim the black side when it convenient but the rest of the time it's I'm half this , I'm a third of that. ....Kills me. It's all a paet of self hatred. Also, I don't refer to my hair as nappy bcuz it is soft like cotton. I call it the new cotton Black cotton. It's like come on Laura why even do that ? I will tell u y bcuz we as humans are more comfortable and quickly identify with what looks familiar to us, thus, Laura feels more or identifies with light skinned or biracial blacks. Most people may not want to admit it but when you walk in a room and that room is full of people u instantly gravitate to the group u r most familiar or identify with. it does not matter if by race, sex, or socail status.
KIM Ansus right!!
+caitlan dunn I agree. Laura, is a ugly bitch..
Agreed
When Tiffany made that statement I felt that because for many, many years there has been a certain standard of beauty and being dark and brown skinned were never it. Joking or not Laura could’ve kept that statement to herself. There are many people who would feel or be left out with that type of thinking. We will deal with this until the end of time🤦🏾♀️ Colorism is real and still exists til this day. 🙄
We need to make this go viral. Thank you New York!!!
I agree completely. I'm light skin and I was even offended. Somethings are left better unsaid (I've learned this the hard way). Laura's comment was so outta pocket. Some light skin folks feel there superior. But let's be clear not all light skin people are cute. IJS.
There’s beauty standard. But I’ll be honest, I am not attracted to black girls. Neither are any of my friends. I am Asian, and I prefer white women.
@@somethinglikeanonymous1773 Sir, that’s your choice. Black and brown women won’t lose any sleep over it! They’re entering relationships with the person who will marry, love, honor, cherish and respect them.
@@Sugastack trust me they are. They hate it when black men go with white women.
Deadass this was the moment for me where I began to fully realize the respect I had for New York. THIS is what put her back in the public eye. The fact that it was her of all people to call Laura out (and having to do it alone too) when New York at that point hadn’t been known for speaking on those types of issues like that, is so amazing.
and now shes bleached her skin and got her nose done so slim like a white girl. She sold out
She wasn't kidding. I'm with New York. If you are black then support all black women of all shades. Why worry about whether or not enough "light skin" women are there?
caramelhoney29 n then gone ask is that racist to a darker skin woman
Yet, dark skinned women do it all the time, and that is okay.
preciousuno70 they don’t and because colourism is a big thing against dark skin women lmaooo
I am so over the colorism in the African American community. The only ones who have an issue are persons of a lighter complexion . Please understand that I'm not saying All of these individuals feel this way, but it is always an issue. Black is beautiful no matter the shade. I totally agree with New York. Represent all shades, not a select hue. Being a darker skinned woman, I had to overcome statements and stereotypes when I was an adolescent, and now love the skin I'm in. Those who criticize and have a superior attitude towards others must find a way to do the same instead of trying to rise above your own people.
It appears that lightskinned woman, and men too, find it easier to dismiss the joke maybe because for years lightskinned was constantly represented, they hardly had to feel the burden of being black Because lightskinned were usually picked and considered the object of desire over their darker toned counterparts.
Whereas the darker skinned women find the joke most offensive simply because darker women are and were underrepresented throughout our media. And if ever represented it was always in a negative way.
I believe the lady's comment was insensitive and lacked good judgement.
"Is that racist" if you really have to ask that question it's probably racist.
Helllooooooo!!🗣🗣🗣🗣👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Straight up colorist.
Or at least rude.
100%
Say it again!!!
Tiffany Pollard is very intelligent, T.V. made her always look IRRATIONAL and CHILDISH but she clearly has a stronger grasp on Reality than most have been led to think. Such a beautiful and empowering moment for her, Tiffany's REALISM is 💯 PERIOD!
🙂❤
She actually isn’t like that in real life. I know someone who knows her and said she is the absolute sweetest( literally an Angel baby) and she is very intelligent and well spoken. I hope she shows more of this side than the one she portrays for entertainment.
“If your black why make tone such subject to say! If you are BLACK STAND IN IT IN ALL SHADES”
-Tiffany Pollard ❤️❤️
New york literally morphed into Iyanla vanvant for a moment 😂😂🙌
Sasha Thomas
YES!🤗
Exactly! Her energy was so centered. I was 100% her for it!
Vanvant😂😂😂😂😂 I don't know why but this made me rofl like
Seriously!!🤣❤️
Yes she did lol
I'm mix too and would never say that. Black comes in all shades. Laura is ignorant, New York read her
I'm mixed & I say it as much as I can.
+Terrance Prescott Barnes Because you're one of those ignorant mix people who think you're better than black people
Skylar Dawn EXACTLY
[Yawns]
Terrance Prescott Barnes How childish are you that you wish death on people who have a different opinion than you.
😂😂 #DoBetter
Shout out to New York for calling a THING a THING! She told no lies.
the colorism radiating from that stage is baffling, the fact they're laughing like what New York is saying is joke is terrible and they need to grow up. claudia especially
Right! Sometimes Claudia asks and looks like Bevis and Butthead
Claudia is mixed too. She doesn't get it.
@@zephyrmajor5618 And brings it up EVERY opportunity she gets!!🙄
Claudia is a colorist
Claudia been fucked by everyone on that stage accept New York
It's sad how nobody stood up for new york but everybody else was kinda defending the other girl. She meant it. But you know what we got your back Tiffany
+uneque nwachukwu Right all about the light colored girl I guess.
+uneque nwachukwu The sad thing is that when dark skinned black women stand up to fight for themselves, they are perceived as rude, ratchet, loud and ghetto. Light skinned and white people think that they have the right to say what they damn well please and the dark skinned woman should just take it.
I agree with you 200% BUT joke or no joke what's wrong with her wanting more light skinned people in the show ? I'm a light skinned man and I wish I was more represented in all media to be honest , there's black pride and light and it bi racial pride.
+Jenine Cook your absolutely correct my friend but let's be honest here and this is my whole problem with , what if New York said I WISH THERE WERE MORE DARK SKINNED WOMEN on the show? Most of you would be giving her kudos for that statement , it's only an issue because a light skinned woman said it.
+charles turner light skinned black women are naturally more favored and get treated better than darker counterparts. Darker skin women need all the representation they can get. Even if it was a joke, it was a terrible one.
I noticed how black men are quick to defend Laura in these comments and on that show.... no one had the same energy for Tiffany 🤦🏾♀️ we black women have to defend ourselves since its established that no black man will stand up for their Sisters/African Queens bye. 😒
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
They defended her on the panel too.
I stand up a black dark skinned women drives me crazy BLACKA THE BERRY SWEATER the juice is what I say.☻😎😎

Come on New York w/my morning affirmations, shit😂 told her ass
I was so proud of Tiffany, because she said her point with intelligence and sternness. When you say something as a joke, you usually have a smile after it. We have to realize that such comments can be damaging(though I don't think Laura ment it to be)
This is the best New York has EVER represented. This is my favorite I’ve ever seen her, truly. I think all us black women tone aside felt that shit DEEPLY.
I love that quote “If you are black stand in it in all shades”
Yep she opened up a phrase for all blacks to use when faced with a Laura

Tiffany! You are right!!! Loved what you said and how you said it!
“Stand in it in ALL shades”!!! That has to be one of the most powerful things I’ve ever heard New York say. Thank God she was there because she shut that girl DOWN with no help! Bravo!

This is the most iconic quote from Tiffany... period!
I’m with New York on this ☝🏾. She was speaking facts
Ms. New York keeping it real even if u are joking u dnt say that just shows she hates on dark skin women period.
Harlem sista soul
You do know that New York has bleached and changed her eye color. Maybe it's just me but I can't take New York serious at all
The One & Only OK and what does that have to do with her skin?
+The One & Only (LadyLala) Which makes what she said even more profound. You do know that in certain parts of the world, there are women literally killing themselves from using bleaching creams and regiments because they aren't deemed desirable and due to self- hate/esteem issues pushed upon them by society? It's a quiet struggle so her speaking on it shows not only an actual real moment from New York but also what many Black Women go through everyday.
Drew York Bleaching your skin just to appear lighter is not stand in one's truth. That was what her whole speech was about. She was speaking from a dark skinned proud black woman's prospective. Then turned around a few months later and change her skin color.
The One & Only it is her standing on her truth because she showed that she has an issue with colorism which means she has experienced it firsthand. I've known a few and to be honest, have laughed at, women who wore makeup 5 shades lighter than their complexion because somewhere in their lifetime, their brown skin was not equated with love and acceptance. If you noticed, Jennifer is brownskinned and she didn't say anything on the subject most likely because she has experienced colorism but maybe not on the level New York has. New York's self-esteem I'm sure plays a part in why she is as silly as she is,...some of that she inherited from her mother but anyway. We all have crosses that we bear.
When she said “stand in it in all shades “ she meant “✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿”💚🔥
@BeebsBonanza Some people have albinism so they may be reallyyyy light but still black. A lot of black people with that are models now too.
Yes yes yes ! ALL SHADES ARE BEAUTIFUL LIGHT TO DARK and everything in between ♥️
Dark to light.

Yep
she's just a follower
Tiffany popped off!! The black community needs to stop taking colorism as a joke.. that shit is not funny.

I love Tiffany sm. What a amazing women, and truly so well spoken
I'm with NY on this one, why bring that subject up if it meant nothing, I don't see the point or the humor in that remark.

Darius Brown i think they said Tiffany is well educated bc she is well spoken and not ignorant....

ItZhypertron She isn't as stupid as many think. Plenty sense!
what makes her think that's a joke
Evangeline B It's weird how black people are really moved by skin tones ...they make it a huge issue
Evangeline B the same reason she thought it was a joke to call her middle eastern therapist a "sand dude"
But why black ppl use the "N" word to each other if it had such a derogatory history. Then they get sensitive about these kinds of jokes? Its such a double standard.
naphshi maybe because black people were enslaved and sold because of their skin tone....
Eddy6159 "were" is the keyword ...not "are" so get over it... every other race gets over their shit...get over yours!
I don't like that no one supported New York in this statement... She was absolutely right. This is why light skinned women get such a bad rep... People like Laura who says shit like that.
Anyone who disowns, disrespects their identity to be falsely accepted, will forever wander in the dark. They will never know who they are and where they stand. How sad and disappointing. You must always love, know and honour thyself.😗😗😗
"Do you think you offended black women?"
"No, not at all."
Yet Tiffany, who is sitting right next to you just said that she had a problem with your statement...
Rt.
Now do Tiffany saying all that racist shit about that Iranian man on the show. I'll wait.

Shes biracial! And I get why some biracial ppl identify as black because that's how theyre viewed and treated but don't pick and choose when you want to be black, don't do it when its convenient for you! Like NY said, "If you are black and youre standing in it, stand in it in all shades!"
She just said she's part black so what are you talkin about she's mix
She's biracial not black smart one
She is black !!!!
Let me tell you something. This is why I love New York. I loved New York from the moment she set foot on our screens on Flavor Of Love.
Y’all see she had to throw that “My kids are black,” ish. That’s the first thing white women run to
You can't want to be black when it's beneficial. Just because you are half black does not give you the right to be ignorant. I don't like people who want to black when it's beneficial but yet ignore social injustices. You have young dark skin girls who hate their skin. So can we stop the self hate. I'm offended this was not funny
"Black when it's beneficial" Child say that real loud for the hard of hearing. I respect a person is bi or multiracial but you can't claim "I'm Black" at convenience OR when busted saying or doing problematic crap.
Laura is anything but ignorant. If her children are black, she made a conscious choice to date & have black children by black men. Stop it; you sound like an idiot & I hope you never procreate. With yo stoopid ass.
Terrance Prescott Barnes you're funny asf and Laura perhaps should have not made the comment on TV assuming all that you said above is true!🙄
Okay idiot. Good luck with your perception of life.
Terrance Prescott Barnes there are so many ignorant non black women who love to fuck black men but don’t like black people.

This will never get old. As a mixed raced woman myself - I would’ve never said that. I LOVE my black people in ALL shades. New York spoke facts.
I feel like people underestimate how powerful her mind is. Not only is she effortlessly hilarious but the way she speaks is so intellectually superior and confident and well spoken it baffles me.
Notice how everyone is quiet when she is talking because she might sound crazy to them but they know she’s right. The one who speaks and stands alone is majority of the time the smartest one and bravest one in the room
Indeya Beepath me. Always. The problem is, being the bravest and smartest can be exhausting when not one person stands with you 😔

A lot ??? The MAJORITY.
Why do you guys always come for biracial people just because "we're mixed and must have an identity crisis"? A lot of us are considered to be black anyways, and we know that some of our other roots will not accept us except for our black roots. I am proud of my black roots and I want to know which country my ancestors came from in Africa, so it doesn't apply to all of us?
Why do people have to throw so much shade on dark skin girls 🤔

Tiffany Pollard is a damn genius
She's a national treasure
and now shes bleached her skin and got her nose done so slim like a white girl. She sold out
I’m mixed race, on the lighter side, I don’t claim I’m black, I say I’m mixed race as I’m just as proud of my white side as my black and can see how it could offend full blood black people. Having said that some people still call me black as they can see I have it in me and get weirded out when I say I’m mixed race, as if I’m not proud to be black?
Having said that some of my brothers and sisters are darker skinned as they inherited the black genetic and they identify as black. Makes people very confused including myself.
Mixed race people struggle a lot with their identity and it causes a load of mental health problems for them, I know as I live this truth everyday.
I wish I was just full black or full white so I felt accepted by my race no matter what. It’s sucks.
Personally, i do not feel offended when a mixed people themselves mixed as it is who they are. The "my father is black" to justify her calling herself black is ridiculous...as if the other part doesn't not exist. If I follow this logic, tia and tamera are white. 😂
Laura, if your daughter says “I wish I was light skin” what are you going to say? “Yeah, I wish you were too?”
ascober Knowing Laura and her ex husband’s colorist history, I wouldn’t be surprised if she/he did 🤦🏾♀️
ascober her father is a colourist too. Feel sorry for the kids
@@TheloniousMcCoy Exactly it's no surprise that she would say that, she married a man that has self-hatred issues, and she's gonna pass that negative ass thinking towards her daughters and it's a shame.
Yes she would say that to them no doubt in my mind, they probably will end up bleaching cuz of her☹
Her father is hardly even Black. I don’t understand why she wasn’t popped in the mouth. 🤷🏽♀️
