I think the misinformation on in this comment section comes from lyme disease (as lynne, they sorta look similar) which is when a tick buries into your skin and paralyses you, (sometimes the throat, which would be the whole throat thing) but lynne and rinne, have better translations of samsara, lynne was used for subtitling to make it fit better as its a Japanese pun. in my interpretation of the song it was more of her losing her virginity or "purity" and her never coming to terms with it and in a stressed out fit she kills herself in fear of becoming too adult, even in the fan made PV it has a blackened goat which is commonly used to represent satan, and in christianity sex before marriage is a sin, and it also shows two different people, but one appears to be looking back at her mistakes and regrets and wants to change them, it sounds more like a plea then an aliment or illness, she just seems to have become "existential aware" due to this event (lose of innocence either sexually or not) and she became depressed and couldn't handles it, so she ends her life. (more evidence/ that isnt really evidence just my interpretation: the cat that says your running out of time seems to personify this existential dread that is her fear of growing old "your out of time", the goat seems to be a reference to satan as well as "you'll be left behind" as peer pressure as she is wearing a school uniform in both the original image and the fan made PV. thats it it's to length I'm done xD
Getting to a more productive topic... I think the song is about a girl whose boyfriend broke up with her, and she still loved him. She was so divided between these feeling of hatred (from being hurt) and love for him (as she still wanted him back,) that she developed a split personality: one which wanted to be with him again, and another which wanted to kill him. She would scream out, being torn apart by these sides. Eventually, the murderous side killed him. Wonderful music box, by the way.
you do know that there are catchy and/or beautiful songs that have dark themes and no one has to cover it, right? the original lynne was already catchy and deep for me and i like it.
Well, the title refers to the disease "Lynne", which is a mental disorder in which you scream for something until your voice is gone because you can never have that thing again. So, yes, it is about loss, but it's a more specific kind of pain this girl feels in her delusional state.
It all makes sense now, she's repetively saying darin in a high tone because in the end, she loved someone so much, and now they're gone. Darin's also worldplay with 'lynne" and "darling." Thanks for that definition. :)
Ok sorry to comment again, but I didn't have time to say this before. Anyway. I think this really brings out how sad Lynne really is. Listening to the original you get swept up in the song, and kinda of forget the whole story behind it. Love this!
@DagzingGirl Pigtail Lynne's left ponytail (which would be our right), and hair-down Lynne's right leg (also our right) make the outline of one side of the heart. Pigtail Lynne's head, torso, arm, and hand connecting to hair-down Lynne make up the outline of the other side.
This song is so beautiful, I could listen to it all day. Lynne is such a great song and this arrange is very well done. Also, I was wondering, can anyone tell me where I can find the picture? Thanks.
an unrecognized illness, psychological, in which a person takes hold of their throat and screams to the point of losing their voice for the one thing they don't have anymore and can't reach. Or something like that.
No real music box can keep a track that long it would either be very big or very thin and long, That's why I like this video so much cause I can't have it in a music box, a real one...
The song isn't exactly from an anime of any sort, but is actually just the music box version of a song called Lynne, which was created by Hachi and originally sung by a Vocaloid called Hatsune Miku.
@The7thSplatter That's not scars/bandages, it's a red string, 'cause notice how it keeps going around hair-down Lynne's sleeve. In Japanese culture a red string around two people represents destiny.
It's pretty obvious the song is about coming to terms with having a significant other no longer love you and the guilt that comes with losing one's virginity to someone who didn't value you as much as you did them.
Really? I'm actually quite glad of that! I just don't dismiss anything these days >.^ In which case, do you know who made it up or where it came from? Maybe it's just a Hachi thing >.^
I think it's about a girl who developed split personalities after her boyfriend cheated on her.As a result, one personality(Pigtails)chased after him, begging his love even though he cheated on her.The other(blackhair)wanted to make him pay,and ended up killing him.Afterwards she wanted to inflict pain on herself, but was so delusional she didn't know where she was,so she choked herself. As it is impossible to choke oneself, she passed out, and, most likely, repeated the process.
XD Yeah. Thinking of Ib...Really, those are beautiful thoughts. Well, everyone's standard of beauty and my second standard; my first standard for beauty was in my previous recount of what music boxes make me think... ((...Yes, I am a sadist; but then again, everyone is to a degree. A sadist is anyone who enjoys another persons' pain, and we ALL laugh when someone falls down the stairs or something.))
well, I knew it was a music box version, but it's not an opening/closing song from an anime? Thanks for the info. I like the Glutamine version as well :)
I've destroyed the replay button. The music box version of this song is so sad but beautiful. I don't want to sound like a noob, but what anime is this from?
Yes, very beautiful thoughts :)...Blood streaming down walls, eyes on the floor watching a 7-9yr old version of me running for my life through darkened hallways as a deranged Mary chases after me with a bloodied knife stained blue with Garry's blood (his rose being blue)...Then, at this song, it morphs that fight and background into a demented Alice in Wonderland, with 2P!England chasing me instead of Mary who becomes "Alice" and watches my brutal murder...Beautiful thoughts :)
I keep on trying to sing the lyrics that Koko (don't know actual username) sing in her english version, but keep on singing the wrong section for the wrong time period. For example, "Will you love me, again, I plead? For my train has stopped here for good, I'd turn back if i could. So please tell me darling, darlin, hey darling, does a phone you never call, even have a life at all?" That is one of them.
Ooh, i thought it was like, the black haired self was her past, and the pigtails was the future. So, what happened was she did kill him, and she killed herself as well, but she was reborn into the pig-tailed self and she remembered everything and felt guilty and stuff... o:
actually it is. its a disorder when the person puts there hands on their necks and screams as loud as they can untill they can't anymore. its really sad :/
Okay, I don't mean to make this beautiful arrange humorous, but does anyone else notice that in the picture that Luka is looking up Miku's skirt? I mean, SERIOUSLY!?

+I Have no Idea What I'm doing it's not a song of anger, or illness it's a song of love and regret
Beautiful arms, awesome song.
This is the most beautiful music box version of any song I have ever heard in my life.
I like listening to this while having a mental breakdown
Getting to a more productive topic...

Wonderful music box, by the way.
i really like this song
i wanna keep it in my head forever * __*
another disturbing song turned beautiful. good job

music box arranges are always so good.
It all makes sense now, she's repetively saying darin in a high tone because in the end, she loved someone so much, and now they're gone. Darin's also worldplay with 'lynne" and "darling." Thanks for that definition. :)
This song makes me sad. ouo.
I just. Love this Music Box so much.
It's amazing. c'':
This is just lovely!! Thank you for uploading it.
Ok sorry to comment again, but I didn't have time to say this before.
Anyway. I think this really brings out how sad Lynne really is. Listening to the original you get swept up in the song, and kinda of forget the whole story behind it. Love this!
This is perfect for read manga, it don't distracts you with the lyrics :D
;AAAA; I could listen to this music box arrangement all night long it's so beautiful. I just spent a good two weeks trying to hunt it down. akdkgh.

Love it x3 and the pic is awesome too
Aw, I'm glad I made you feel good ^-^
And yes, friends :)
an unrecognized illness, psychological, in which a person takes hold of their throat and screams to the point of losing their voice for the one thing they don't have anymore and can't reach. Or something like that.
Thats nice :) i could fall asleep to this
this song still creep me out but I love it, also love this music box ver
Beautiful. :'(
it more sadder than i thought but even though it is sad its kinda awesome!!
Ahh, this is amaze ;u;
That made me cry ;^;

いいね!

Wow. This is so cool.
I was listening to this and it almost made me cry.. ;__;
@The7thSplatter That's not scars/bandages, it's a red string, 'cause notice how it keeps going around hair-down Lynne's sleeve. In Japanese culture a red string around two people represents destiny.
Is there an actual music box that has this song? I'd totally buy it and play it over and over again ;_;
I love this
really cute
Sounds like a Touching Story of Romance~
...Holy crap, now I can't help but think of Ib now!
thank you
Lynne is a disease, but Lynne is also an anime character's name. It's like the name Willow. Willow's a tree, but it can be a name as well .-.
Also...You have AWESOME drawing skills! ^^ ((Yes, like a derp, I checked out your videos ^^;))
I think I like this better than the original!
Wow, that actually makes allot of sense.
Thanks Google.
Has anyone noticed that hair-down Lynne's body and pigtail-Lynne's body and hair makes the shape of an upside down heart?
Mm... This one reminds me more of Desert Nightmare.
It's pretty obvious the song is about coming to terms with having a significant other no longer love you and the guilt that comes with losing one's virginity to someone who didn't value you as much as you did them.
Rinne in Japanese also means cycle.
Love it
Really? I'm actually quite glad of that! I just don't dismiss anything these days >.^ In which case, do you know who made it up or where it came from? Maybe it's just a Hachi thing >.^
May I please use this for a cover? I need to edit the pitch though, I have a low voice!

泣ける
I totally agree I love that game (Ib)
Or you can alternatively.. click on the link in the description? I link to that very video.
悲しい...
かわいい!
I guess it does.
The fandom that has an irrational fear of art galleries.

This is Vocaloid. Not an anime. People get mad about this, be careful on what you ask.
(Random: Yay! I'm the 100th like) Anyways, not the whole reason I was commenting, What are the best music box arranges you've heard?
Think that your in a planet close to the sun. Your staring at the sun but the sun doesn't hurt you. Its peaceful isn't. TRY IT.
The song hasn't been used for any animes at the moment. u v u
And no prob! Glutamine's version is really nice haha
I've destroyed the replay button. The music box version of this song is so sad but beautiful. I don't want to sound like a noob, but what anime is this from?
:3 triste pero perfecto
How sad... I never heard of the Lynne disorder before. I'm interested, though. Do you know of any web pages I could visit to learn more about it?
Damn that's deep.

Oh hi there Yuki-chan!~
@gryffinclaw08 Oh!! Thanks a bunch~ :)
now that is really depressing...
Because that comment has been posted verbatim in every single Lynne song.
なんか切ない。
Ooh, i thought it was like, the black haired self was her past, and the pigtails was the future. So, what happened was she did kill him, and she killed herself as well, but she was reborn into the pig-tailed self and she remembered everything and felt guilty and stuff... o:

Okay, I don't mean to make this beautiful arrange humorous, but does anyone else notice that in the picture that Luka is looking up Miku's skirt? I mean, SERIOUSLY!?
Reminds me of Pandora Hearts. :3
"lynne" is romanized as "rinne" in japanese, so technically it can be either....
...I meant at the music box for Matryoshka...I was listening to it as I wrote this...^^; Heh.
Do you mind if I use this for a cover? ;u; I'll be singing in it~
omg how is this a disease ? this is a cry for help
where can i download this, i want this for my tounes for my cell-phone :D
The person that made the fake PV had him with another girl. the black haired girl killed him after he waved her goodbye when she got on the train.
+Animefreakee
woah
How pretty. (:
I don't know if I will, but would I be able to use this arrangement for a dubbed..? :3
is there a mp3 to this? if there is do you think you could give it to me please?
Could you make an MP3 download, please?
Probably because people don't understand that theories exist and there isn't just one way to look at the song - their way.
You're in the middle of a train track the train is coming at full speed. Someone tries to save you. they're too late. Someone else already did. your best friend did...
I love this song but I prefer "Rinne" with Hatsune Miku
Okay Thanks :bd
In Japanese, there's technically no difference between the R and the L. So It's correct either way.
SeeU!! *smiles*
what is this video about i can never find it -_-
MP3 ? please.
