  • @mark6830
    @mark6830 Год назад +1

    12:32 this seems forced because of the benefit of hindsight? The more prominent external liquidity here would be the triple top on the left. You used 15min as your point of external liquidity identification but you will only consider this as a liquidity sweep if you already went down to the 1min time frame (which defeats the purpose of using the 15min TF). If you use the same concept, then the bear candle with a long top wick at 2/2:15am would be a liquidity sweep of the immediate price consolidation on the left.

      Sometimes price never returns to the 1st one and 2 or 3 more FVGs form, so I set limit orders on them but take a market order on the FVG that price actually taps into and target the DOL. If price reaches the DOL before the previous FVGs are filled I cancel the limit orders, but if price does tag me into the trade then I'll have 2 -3 trades going to the DOL. My 1st market order will have the most contracts and the limit orders will have less risk and act as runners. My goal is to get my profits as quickly as possible and let the runners be extra cherries on top 🍒
      Hope that helps.

ABC pattern? so higher highs and lower highs on third example so this is why you would only look for shorts on 1m to go back to the FVG?

      Both times are correct but it's New York EST,
      3-4 am NY (8-9am UK), 10-11am NY ( 3-4pm UK)
      2-3pm NY (7-8pm UK)
