@@lukemorris4065 I mean he's talking about this specific case not a general statement. Its the same reason you don't care about accuracy and people use dfs with Voidwaker since it has a damage multiplier and has 100% accuracy. The opposite is true for Abby dagger in this case. Super high max with moderate accuracy is best to lower the max by 2-4 and get significantly more accuracy. Also what makes the dagger decent is that its harder to be venge countered due to damage splits.

I'm no pker but I think if they changed it to a 75%-125% of the max hit it would be a lot more predictable and much less likely to 1 hit somebody. I'm just comparing to my experiences playing fortnite where the pump shotgun was super OP and could 1 hit people, it was balanced by reducing the max hit to just below max hp, then if you saw or heard a pump you'd know to keep your hp at 200 to avoid it. Mind you this was also paired with a shotgun switch delay, that way it couldn't be combo'd with other shotguns.

@@MrSanctuarys the wep is fine, they just need to add an imbue like they did with the gmaul. right now it's too good for literally no risk, add a 5m risk to it and the noobs will not be bringing this anymore and if they do you'll be making bank from them.
the wep isn't fine its like 3x more likely to kill someone than ags which was the old best wepon for pvp kill potential. it's incredibly overpowered due to its speed and accuracy.

Since day 1 I have said Voidwaker should stay the same, EXCEPT it should roll off of mage gear rather than strength gear for the spec. The spec would be garbage in full melee set up but with full mage switch it would be the same as it is now. It wouldn't be OP in that scenario, since people would need to actually full mage switch to use it. They would need to figure out a calculation where the damage scales based on mage attack bonus and DMG %. This way it would still work with void and Ahrim set ups. I would love to hear Oda's thought on this! What are everyone else's thoughts on this?

I quit playing a couple of years ago but I still watch the videos. That being said, the voidwaker opens up plenty of opportunities for noobs to get easy kills against more experienced pkers. However, because of how op the voidweaker is, it ruins it for the newer items

I’m poor so I pk in torso, rune legs and d boots typical poor man’s set up. The dagger tears through void with just regular stabs. The special isn’t all that imo, but I hit 30-40s consistently.

If they added armor with hp bonuses, perhaps it'd make pking not so 1-hit due to korasi and whatnot. Beat the power creep with hp bonus armors!
