This saddens me because of the weight obsessions that are perpetuated among young girls. Chinese girls tend to be petite already but many have EDs already :(

They already look like they will be blown away by a gust of wind and they still want to become'skinnier'. Not healthier, just to remind you. I am also not satisfied with my body size but what I am aiming for is to have a healthier body. I'm sure people will say it's their personal choice, but we should put into consideration our well-being as we go through the material things in life.

I saw that picture (the chart with the girl standing and has a number behind her back) when I was planning to lose weight, it was unbelievable that it weights a little but it needs to be taller. As a person who's height is 153/155cm, weight weight 69kg and has a measurement of 36-32-45 (inches) even I lose weight it is impossible for me to be thinner as them, when I saw it first I went 😬 because I couldn't believe it and I keep searching and searching to find the ideal weight for my height because I wanna loose weight for my health than following what's in the chart ( I have asthma and when I get too chubby I've been sick always and have a eczema flare ups often ). I love the style of brandy Melville but I'm not gonna starve myself to death to fit in their clothes and be one of the trend

"In China, "BM" has come to describe the hottest summer trend of 2020." This is a great video... in english BM also stands for "Bowel Movement." I am getting older and have always had a temperamental digestive system , BM is always a hot trend year round for me lol

Let me explain JUST how absurd Brandy Melville is: (TW, but youre already in a TW video)
I am 162cm. At the height of my anorexia, I was a measly 38.3kg.
From 42kg onwards, I was shopping in Zara kids. Looking at Brandy Melville and their sizing, at 42kg I would be considered 'able to fit the clothes.'
Now. At 41kg, my lung collapsed. They said it was a spontanous pneumothorax, which tends to happen to tall, underweight biologically male bodies. My BMI also put be at risk of stroke and heart failure. At 40kg, I had osteopenia, lost my period and had a ton of hair loss, all over my body, including my long, thick hair.
So essentially, fitting into BM clothing means being a HAIR away from death and sucking the life our of yourself.
    It's not worth it. Period.

People are quick to point out the negative effects of obesity being promoted in the media, but not the ED triggering models.
