They actually are finishing it, Miura had a childhood friend that also does manga (he even helped him write the eclipse), and he said Miura has told him the ending. It’ll never be perfect but they’ve already made a few chapters
@@danielgardner3601 yeah, I've been reading it but I feel like Mori doesn't have the same philosophical chops that Miura had. I think Miyazaki is actually on the same wavelength as Miura though. And that's no dirt on Mori, he's doing the best he can, but the dialogue just feels very different.

What do you mean dark time? 2024 has been an amazing year for games so far we got suicide quad, infinite wealth, FF7R, P3R, Skull and Bones, DD2, Helldivers 2, and stellar blade with many more amazing games otw such as Star Wars outlaws, COD Gulf War, and AC Shadows. Another great year for gaming!

The story presentation in the game is much less dramatic than the cutscene trailers, fyi. You basically only get cutscenes right before boss fights. The rest of the time you're just running around, fighting mobs, exploring, with occasional in-game dialogue. There's a lot of environmental story-telling. It's still an excellent game, don't get me wrong, but just don't go into it expecting it to be similar to the trailers
reserve 100 hours for the base game and probably another 25 for the dlc when it drops

I haven't even played a minute of Elden Ring, I've been waiting for the perfect time to start it and I think that time is now.
You definitely should, it just might be from softs, and the genre in general's magnum opus. And while you might hear of the sheer difficulty BUT this is probably one of their most "fair" difficult games cuz you'll never be completely cucked by a wall on every side. You'll always find a way to progress ✨️
You can get the base game ($60) and the DLC ($40) for only $80 right now at least on PlayStation so I’d definitely go for it, probably my fav game ever! The whole series is also totally worth playing and most of the games frequently go on sale
if you're playing like video game like 8-10 hours a day. then you don't have to worry about playing it early. you can wait for the DLC. but if you're playing 3-4 hours maximum and you plan to 100% the game, you should start early. because you're gonna spend 100 hours on your first playthrough. a minimum of atleast 40 maybe if you're not gonna die to bosses multiple times. and 20 hours if you don't plan to 100% the game
Nooo, you should played the base first. Because this game literally have 2 worth of full game content inside single base game. The map and puzzle is just sooo big and many that you will get tired in the end.
I hope you have a hugeeeee of a stomach if you want to consume the base game and dlc all at once🙏
ER was my first Fromsoft game and it took me 200 hours to 100% it.
It's worth it for that alone.

As with characters like Gwyn, or the Ivory King, FS often has a theme of how heroes and gods, no matter how epic and benevolent they are, walk a fine line between righteousness and authoritarianism... it's the agents of chaos, like Shabriri, who push for liberty, but at the cost of turning the world into a nightmare. With order and goodness can also come authority and blind faith.
That's powerful stuff, and as a player, it makes me reflect... at the end of the day, I think the agents of order are good and the agents of chaos are bad, but there are people who'd disagree and that's part of the fun of the conversation. There are very few games/devs that raise such interesting questions

Always hated those types of enemies only because Fromsoft is especially bad with those kind. They have weird hit boxes that could hit you from nowhere because of their design. Granted that was back in Bloodborne though.
This is why that Final Fantasy guy was like, we ain't competing with Elden Ring. We'll push ours back.

The trailer is so good that i wish there'd be a big screen Elden Ring movie, it will surely be a box office hit. The settings, the art directions, the ambience, it's all just very out of this world

@@gyj14 Fromsoft had split their team of 300 to work on Eldin Ring and AC6 separately/simultaneously. And I'd wager they aren't using the entire team to work on just DLCs. (I could be wrong, it's just a guess.)
I'd also wager we'll definitely get AC6 DLC. It sold really well for such a niche franchise.
With the announcement that no more DLC will be coming to Eldin Ring. I don't see Fromsoft sitting around with 300 employees just making DLCs. So that's why I'm wondering what's next.

Marika is a triumphant champion calling to the Greater Will. Similar to us and Ranni, Marika had to kill the last god. She killed the Gloam-Eyed queen who was the previous god(dess) and uses the threads of grace that was implanted in her. When she is raising these thread it isn’t the rune making the “wind” it is a roar from the Greater Will! We already have seen how you have to take from the dead god’s body to create a new order so the scene of Marika is just confirming SHE did it too.
This is a DLC.
