There is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting the music style that you love, produce, and want to share with others, or talking about the kinds of music you think is of less quality. That's not being a snob, it's being serious about what you do, and being an individual. Thinking that being specific about music is snobbery is just ridiculous. Otherwise everything would sound the same and we would consume it like a bunch of drones. No thanks. Art needs opinion and artist preference is extremely important.
