Here is a tip, if you are solo, there is close to no chance for u to spawn the mirage and get the gear, so get two to three boats go to danger five and drive side ways and it should spawn, and tip for gear is to look up for tutorials.
Where does mirage usually spawn like between which islands, I saw some tutorial where it said that we should start from the last island and move straight till sea level 4 or 5 and go side ways and dodge sea events and after sea events a mirage will spawn (1 boat)

I found the best way, go up to sea 6 and if you dont find just server hop and try again, i keep finding it every ten minutes doing this
