I usually start in the blood moon boss room, then I go to blue moon, and finally I go to eclipse, this makes it easier to resupply on food and 4 bluemoon potions, then loot the chest and do it all over again
No need to bring pots either. Make pots there they actually as super combat and prayer you should only keep 3 items in invo. Pestle, rope, and net. Thats it.
You can make moonlight potions that act both as a prayer potion and supercombat with the herblore supplies available in the crates behind the cooking stove.
@@Greg_Buckingham and the npc tells you how every one of the 3 bosses work lol, she says that for eclipse, you can't turn your back to him. This is a dialogue option right before you go kill the 3 bosses to finish the quest
so, couple tips. lizards when you cook give 2-3 meats, way faster to get food. you can do moonlight potions and just not bring any supply. bring thralls, they even do damage on some phases that you cannot do damage to the boss after each phase, the circle that will light up is always the north right or the south left, depends on the phase. on Eclipse, when you get dragged to the middle of arena, look in the direction of the shadows, you will gain a free hit and wont take damage. i don't know how much it matters, but blue is weak to crush, blood to slash and eclipse to stab this update is awesome for low-mid levels, you can stay inside the dungeon forever and spend nothing, loving it!
See, i did this on my 65 att, 75 str, 60 def iron and i barely got passed blood. The chip damage is wayy too high for lower lvls. My main on the other hand went through it like butter
@@seancervantes1 blood moon is the hardest one for sure, use the jaguars phase to heal up and bring dds since he is weak to slash, other than that, just pray to the gods he doesn't hit you very often lol
@@trevorn8200attack the jaguar and step back onto the blood in 6t intervals. You take 0 damage while healing 6-8 each time. The fish heals like 33, anyway.
Kills are much faster with the weapons theyre weak too. Can get 4-5 runs out of 2 moonlight and full inv of breams. Dont forget to collect moths on your way round to top up prayer
Even if this dungeon/mini boss trio was the only update I had gotten, I'd still praise it. I'm having so much fun with it and I'm also happy seeing the possibilities iron men/builds will get with the update too

You can make super combat potions the moonglow are combat pots aswell and catching salamanders are much faster, and they heal more, they heal 33, and you get 3 pieces per 1 salamander
Tips I got to give: 1. You can gather grubs off the bushes and add them to the herb lore kit for prayer restore, super combat, and divine defense effect (I believe you get divine effect from higher herb lore levels, I’m 71. I do know fishing, hunter, and cooking affect their gathering and production in here) 2. melee overhead does NOT reduce damage from bosses. It’s all about their chance to hit so piety or even steel skin should be on 24/7 3. Again, prayer is free as fuck so USE YA PRAYER camp those pieties, summon thralls to your hearts content, it’s free! 4. Blood moon boss can heal you during jaguars if done right. My cycle with a whip is as follows: hit, hang a second, then step on the blood pool when it’s at its biggest. Immediately hit the jaguar again after you input the move to the pool. With a 4t weapon and ok ping you should now be able to hit the jaguar twice, and as soon as the second swing goes through you step back and repeat the first step of swinging then hanging out for a sec. Damage dealt to the cats should heal you when stepping on the blood pool at the right time. 5. Afk in the center during the braziers thing for blue moon if you’re like 80s and up melee stats. Save the mental, I’ve been doing it and my kills might’ve slowed down by like 5 seconds but I enjoy making content I find chill even more chill. I can’t remember anything else right now but uh yeah hope these help and I’ll answer what I can

You don't need super combats, make moonlight potions, they act as super combat and prayer pot in one. And swamp lizard food heals more (as long as your cooking level is relatively high)
Theres nothing else that really intros moving behind a shield to avoid attacks. This is a mid game semi raids thing that helps people with movement. Raids one doesnt even really have a whole lot of prayer switches so its a good ramp up to Cox then TOA @@JReezzy93

it’s kind of wild to me that people take food and pots into the rooms when they don’t even work lmfao. it’s a self sustaining dungeon. literally explains it in the quest
I noticed that the tile where you can attack the boss after each special is the same each time and marked it - super useful to speed through kills. Managed to get a sub 5 minute time with minimal mistakes and non-bis gear. About 20 chests in and still no uniques sadly tho. Great video!
one of the biggest things i learned. during blue moon, brazier phase - turn off run, and ctrl click spam to each brazier. when you get hit by tornados, character begins to run much sooner then trying to keep clicking it on since if you do it to quickly it will turn it back off.
1k water orbs from 100 chests is pretty good crafting cp/ alch money for mid irons + the herbs and tar for some herblore xp... could be better rewards but not bad
Tackling content on day 1 is class. It’s the Wild West with figuring out the mechanics. I’m really happy with the loot table so far, going for base 70s I find almost everything useful. I also died a lot until I put on full barrows, so I do think it’s difficult enough for the target audience.
I find more handy starting in the blood moon, after you defeat that one first, he puts you right next to the resources and the next boss. I basically go red,blue and yellow.
during the shadow phase for eclipse, there is not attack delay so you can use your strongest weapon. I bring a BGS and just throw that on and can sometimes start her in the shadow phase and bring her to 1hp
In future vids, you you also include the xp/h of skills you can bank for us ironman btw. Like HM herb/craft/prayer xp/h would you bank doing this boss?
BIS Attack Styles for the 3 Bosses are: Blood = Slash, Blue = Crush, and Eclipse = Stab. I do Saelador although scythe is better for slash, then the new dual blood weapon for crush or abyssal bludgeon then fang for stab!
btw eclipse roo. the spcial attack where u get pushed to center. just face the dirrection of each shadow and it will "parry" the attack dealing damage to the boss
You can create moonlight potions that are prayer potions and a super combat potion combined. Also hunting lizards in the room you go into after beating the eclipse boss is much faster than fishing for your food in the first room. In the eclipse room to avoid the damage when you are stationary in the middle of the room you just need to look at the eclipse boss. 😊
Hey MrNoSleep, I recently came across a reddit post on r/ironscape. It details how killing one brother at a time could be measurably more efficient at getting specific items. It'd be interesting to see you do 1000 kills of just Ahrim or something. 1000 sounds like a lot, but they go by really really fast. No one seems to have any data on this technique of barrows so it'd be really cool to see if it's more efficient for mid level irons (like myself).
For the eclipse boss where you're standing still in the middle you just click under every spot where the boss spawns so that your character turns to look at the boss at each spawn and it becomes 0 damage and free dps during the phase. The idea in that phase is to always face the boss
With eclipse you try not to have your back facing him. Just click toward the first one then continue once each one pops up sometimes you can get a hit off on him. But won’t take damage if your facing them
The drop table is so good for early irons for herb and prayer exp. The crushed bones and the sun blessed bones are great exp. Good low level farming exp. And the charged orbs is good crafting and money maker for irons. I wish this existed when my iron was low level. Those were my hardest skills
So each boss is weak to a different melee style: blood-slash, eclipse-stab, blue-crush. So either brining three good weapons, or one that can do all three, is ideal. Defense is more important in this boss/mini raid than most others. All that said, I’ve been using Zami hasta, and it seems to work well.

Was actually in the middle of a 100 chests myself when ya mentioned this yesterday I’m an iron so I was cheesing hard when I realized this was raids 3.25 and barrows combined😂 I never bring anything in my inventory besides a whip and zasta for switches since you can fish op food and get the grubs for super combats
If you do actually kill 1k you should switch weapons for each boss. Eclipse fang/rapier, blue dual maracas, blood saeldor/tent whip. I like camping lightbearer and using ancient godsword, but chally looked insane too.

I love perilous moons - although I did lose about a quarter of my bank through changes in the price of gear. I guess that means I've gotta grind this out for a while haha
Afk fossil island crabs for better stats until you have all the fossils needed for displays... then rat boss. Once you get level 70 Def + att and 80 str... then go back. Gear doesn't matter much once you get mechanics down and learn how to resupply fast. Once you get the gear from here you will be chilling 😎

Or you can do the mushroom woodcutting and get fossils that way... because you will likely need the sullicep mushroom tops for crafting pies anyways :p no time lost if you get the fossils that way You will also get fossils from the slayer task as well if you choose to do those! That's the great thing about OSRS, it's never a mistake... simply a learning opportunity to expand your knowledge base 😀 Have a good day man!
my rotation: enter sw door. run north to camp catch six lizards and cook em, make 3 moon pots. run back to the door u came from. enter blood room, after completed it tele's you right next to blue moon room. go blue moon itl tele you next to eclipse room . finish that and it will tele you back to the same area u just came from. take the north door for chest. run north after chest and reset. each point has a very close resupply near the next boss.
That or the other way around (eclipse-blue-blood) works. Starting with eclipse is better for me since I use fish (low hunter lvl), and can cook more right after the chest room if I need more food. Then right in against eclipse and repeat. Guess it depends on food preference

I have a feeling they r going to need to change the drop table. I have a feeling they are all going to fall under 1m soon. Probably will be under 500k an hour or less in the near future. With barrows being lower lv content and easier to access theres no way this content doesn’t eventually become not worth doing for non-irons the way it is now. Honestly same with the Colosseum after you get the quiver
the water orbs are going to be huge fo rmid-late game ironmen. Making orbs is super boring and sucks and now you get around 1k of them for 100 chests, pretty fucking good

At the eclipse moon boss when he spawns randomly around you just look where he spawns to take 0 damage and counter attack everytime

Hope you have some by now! I got very lucky and got a unique the first run (during the quest) and now have 5 uniques in 25 chests

Making the pots with the the moonlight paste and water is pretty awesome also. They work like restores and super combats in one
The drop tables feel really good as an iron with yew seeds, water orbs for crafting exp and alching. Overall very nice for mid-level irons.
Definitely make your own supplies. It takes less than a minute.

Best advice for jaguar phase is step on the blood when it gets to it's max size, and then click back on the jaguar.

Also if you turn on entity hider in Runelite it will stop the yellow clicks on the bosses.

Damn 16m from 100 chests.. I started doing moons last year and I got so lucky, already got 21m from 26 chests (5 uniques)

For the phase where 3 guys show up. If you turn your guy to look at the boss you will take less damage and attack back

Take the herblore supplies, grab a grub from the bushes, grind the grub, use on the vial. That's a prayer potion

This drop table is actually god tier as a mid level iron… problem is i can barely kill it 😂
Afk fossil island crabs for better stats until you have all the fossils needed for displays... then rat boss. Once you get level 70 Def + att and 80 str... then go back. Gear doesn't matter much once you get mechanics down and learn how to resupply fast. Once you get the gear from here you will be chilling 😎

Or you can do the mushroom woodcutting and get fossils that way... because you will likely need the sullicep mushroom tops for crafting pies anyways :p no time lost if you get the fossils that way
You will also get fossils from the slayer task as well if you choose to do those!
That's the great thing about OSRS, it's never a mistake... simply a learning opportunity to expand your knowledge base 😀

during the eclipse boss if you click on the tile facing him you auto hit back and dont take any damage hope that helps
with a higher hunter level, you can bare hand catch moonlight moths. they refill your prayer between bosses

my rotation: enter sw door. run north to camp catch six lizards and cook em, make 3 moon pots. run back to the door u came from.
enter blood room, after completed it tele's you right next to blue moon room. go blue moon itl tele you next to eclipse room .
finish that and it will tele you back to the same area u just came from. take the north door for chest. run north after chest and reset. each point has a very close resupply near the next boss.
I just ordered the Nibbler plush, I couldn't not, it's too cute.
for the eclipse boss: if you use full dharoks you can finish him extremely quick during his mimic special attack

Rapier I feel is better then fang, I hit constant 50s with basically same gear
Bloodhound then blue moon then eclipse is the meta, once you finish eclipse your right next to the chest room 👍🏻
That or the other way around (eclipse-blue-blood) works. Starting with eclipse is better for me since I use fish (low hunter lvl), and can cook more right after the chest room if I need more food. Then right in against eclipse and repeat. Guess it depends on food preference

i literally just do some fish and the moonlight potions no need to wast super combats the moonlight gives you super combat plus prayer

The drops are because of the salamanders… it’s the ammunition.
I have a feeling they r going to need to change the drop table. I have a feeling they are all going to fall under 1m soon. Probably will be under 500k an hour or less in the near future. With barrows being lower lv content and easier to access theres no way this content doesn’t eventually become not worth doing for non-irons the way it is now. Honestly same with the Colosseum after you get the quiver

the water orbs are going to be huge fo rmid-late game ironmen. Making orbs is super boring and sucks and now you get around 1k of them for 100 chests, pretty fucking good
