Hey, Welcome to the OFD Watch Channel. My name is Aron Dunlap, and I’m nuts about watches. What’s OFD you ask? Well, one of my best friends coined this term. It stands for “Only F@#*ing Dunlap” (sorry kids!!) due to some of the ridiculous things I can come up with, including watch collecting.
I have loved watches for years, but in the last few years really got into the collecting and studying aspect. I mainly buy Seiko and Orient watches, but I love everything out there!! (Omega, Oris, Rolex, Squale, Timex, Casio, Steinhart….and on and on and on)

I am a nato strap guy, but sadly Blushark did me wrong. I did the “order two, get one free” deal in December and the company sent me an email saying it was shipped but after over a week of checking the status, it was never shipped. I called them and cancelled my order. They look like nice straps but I ended up buying Haveston straps instead.
I have few Alphashark straps, they are great straps. Those new AlphaPremier look even better. Thanks for the review.

I own one Blushark and it is very good quality. Just a mite too short to tuck on my 8.5" wrist. The addition of the floating keeper is nice but I'd love to see a slightly longer standard length like Toxic NATOS's do.
I have couple watches that need straps. I hate hate hate bracelets, not because they look ugly but I can never get them to fit well either too loose or way to tight. Don't have money for brands like Omega that has those insane adjustable clasps. I have 3 watches I never wear because just don't want to mess with bracelets. Great review

Hey Aron, how have these Alpha Premier held up after some wear time?
I know it's been a looong time since the video came out, but the Blushark Original are my favourite straps and I'm thinking of trying out the Premier models. So just asking for your 2 cents on whether to switch from the Original to the Premier, is it worth it. 😄
I love the original also. I still wear mine very often. These are definitely a step up. Love the smoothness of these and the floating keeper. Either way you can't go wrong with BluShark straps.

Go on alibaba.com and type in "seatbelt nato". All those newly developed premium NATOs are on there for around 2.5 USD. All BlueShark, MooseStraps etc do is resell the straps for 30 USD.

What's the length of the strap?
Njama Jones Overall from end of buckle ti end of strap is 12 1/8". First hole near end of strap starts at 1.5". Last hole closest to hardware is at 5".
Hi! Is that a strap version of Bulova? I have bracelet edition and I wonder if this strap is thin enough to fit it. I can use regular Blushark, but just barely.
Vincent Van Gogh Yes, strap version. I didn't know the lug holes were different. I usually use standard blushark on this one. These aren't much thicker.
Can you measure where the first hole starts? The ones I just got start sooner then on the first one I had got from them. Unfortunately they don’t fit as nice. I still plan on buying more tho!

bro at 5:47 you fold up and over the first ring and under the second ring for a secure a thight fit, and not fold it under bother rings.. so up and over the first ring and under the second ring and pull for a tight and secure fit.

give it a try, you will thank me later hehe also why a long nato straps are better for that type of fold over at the end and you should never cut them if they are "too long"

That AlphaSlim is where it's at! I don't like the thick NATO, so uncomfotable IMO.
Heart of Texas Armory I love the Slimline. This one is very similar. Feels great!!
