That thing is definitely awesome looking. But it didn’t look any faster than my 4s outcast. And although $650 seems to be the ballpark price range for most of the brand name 6s vehicles, you can get the Arrma notorious 6s for $550. And those things are built like a tank. That extra $100 savings can go towards a 6s battery.
That's why I run Arrma mostly. I can point out 10 different cars that are faster and more durable and cheaper. I'm not knocking HPI, but the price is too high.
Reading some of your comments i agree with you. This is a skip for most people. Mine came with a bunch of stripped screws that I HAVE to get to because the front end needs a lot of work. The servo saver needs to be tightened, servo needs to be replaced and those screws are the ones that are messed up. There's no replacement for the slipper even if you get the center diff. They switched the parts out there so the old savage parts don't fit on that part. If I could I'd get my money back, I would.
I really wanted this truck.. but literally every, and i mean every video I've seen includes some form of problem occurring with this truck. You'd think with so many itterations of this truck they would have made improvements to atleast compete with other brands. Crazy stuff.
@rcbeast101 thanks for the response and that's good news. I found with a few upgrades this thing can compete with the bashers of today's world like the maxx, kraton, etc.
This is been on my radar for a long time as well! Where did you get the carbon fiber from? It looks freaking amazing bro. I don’t get the slipper tho… not on a 6s

I was thinking about doing that. This truck is a big disappointment. Wait till you see the next video.
Thanks for watching
Great video
Thanks
I'm impressed, it has good speed speed, and it seems to handle very well. You're right. why a slipper clutch in a 6s,awesome run
Strange how I look for videos on Savages, but can't find much, now these pop up😂 nice video man, I went for the xl for there's a $100 difference
Awesome. Thanks for watching.
Definitely appreciate this. I'm a Savage X fan from 06 before there was an electric version. Cool video
Thanks
I like all that plastic covering the chassis. I hate scratching up a nice new anodized chassis.

It does have problem, but when it runs good, it's amazing.
Thanks for watching.

@DaRevrin awesome let me know how it works out.
Been looking at this myself for a while. May have to pull the trigger. Good video!
Thanks.
They are great, look how the front and the back parts match, excellent 🎉
Thanks.
Nice rig bro
Thanks.
Nice run and jumps, and I have say not a bad run and something different from the rest 👍🏽💯💨🔥🔋
I’d like the nitro 5.9 for me. Yo Philly That thing is wicked on brushless power.

Good video. You keep the content coming bro. 👍🏻 I'd stick with arrma based on your review but good to see other brands hey.
Not familiar with HPI rc’s but this looks dope💯
Interesting truck. Never owned an HPI rc. I think these would take some getting used to
It is different. Takes some getting used to.
You can also upgrade to a centre diff for a better driving experience, replacing the stock slipper.
Actually it doesn't replace it. It's in addition to. Just got this truck and the center diff. Already one of the worst purchases I've made.
Mine never wheelie?
How do you set the punch?
Why dose it say first run. Bit video you are showing tires are dirty?
Probably filmed the run, before doing the intro.
My 1st run didn't say it was a brand new rc,lol.
Why??
Nice hip savage flux😂😂😂😂
Still dont know why they use slipper clutch, makes no sense
No sense at all .
Thanks for watching.
😎👌🏿
Servo just bad hey😅
Nitro is better
Only your opinion. It's about what you enjoy more.
