Your theory is the most relatable tho bc everything they found while digging match everything you said but I'm still doubting for the paranormal activites that happened while they were digging. As a practising witch, I feel you should freeze this until you decide what to do with it and cleanse and protect yourselves. Whilst you place it in the freezer imagine it's power freezing in time like you're pausing a TV. But only if you have a freezer separate to your house, you don't want to be bringing that inside.
I'm a practiced druid and have a family history of people doing similar things. I've done protective objects that absorbe the bad entities or energies. If I can, I will send you one to help you for the time being but it may only be a momentarily fix until you get a white witch or a local shaman or druid to go there and fix your problem. It pretty much seems to me like a nature spirit being angry and binded by a spell to that property. If it's old and strong enough it can call negative or positive entities and use them, which seems the case here.

Have you tried to sage your house yet? Sometimes, if there are negative spirits, you can use Prayer and walk through your house with the lit Sage. Keep some windows open so the negative spirits can leave and just pray for all negative things, etc. Must leave and only light and love are welcome there. Not sure if you have tried this, but depending on how deep the haunting is....this should help. If not, try going outside and using sea salt all around the perimeter so they can't enter your home, use prayer as you lay the salt as well. I had a spirit coming through my window at night exactly last year at this time and it kept waking me up at night several times a night. I was told to put 3 lines of salt on my bedroom window seal and I moved shortly after but it worked as far as I know, my mom still lives in that home. Good luck you guys!!!

In your last video before Kaia got sick. She was laying on the floor and that twig or what ever it was, was moving on its own. At the time I thought it looked like something was holding her head down. She just sort of moves her eyes around. Well the side facing up is the same side she got the wound. I think something did that to her. Be careful you guys and watch your animals close.
That's what I thought too when you first pulled out the string. That it looks like a witches lader. The hollow part I think was a piece of metal or like a rusted nail. As a practicing witch I also make it. It is a form of protection against negative elements. But it also acts as a spirit trap, so it can trap bad and negative entities to keep it out from a specific area.

The smell might have been what ever was attached to what ever was moving in front of the music box. Maybe how it died . I think it’s giving you a sign. ( I once had a smell of something burning in an old house I use to live in. I ran around the house in and out looking for fire, it turned out to only be in that one spot in the house, I’d also get strong perfume smells, and freezing cold spots).

Hiya, just to offer explanation to Kaia's situation. Abcesses can take up to 5 days to form and to me it sounds like a burst abcess (one of our cats had a fight and had a burst cyst 5 days after and needed deep skin/wound clean out etc) so it could just be a huge coincidence as abcesses don't tend to interrupt normal behaviour, they can appear and burst over night (we also have a cattery and had very similar situations with cats that came in after cat fights!).
i think whoever is setting off the equipment in the room when Mackie ask it to stop knows you are the owner of this bedroom so it stops. But when Amanda asks it to stop, it doesn't stop cause it knows Amanda is not the owner of the bedroom

This may be a bit of a call back but do you two remember the being you saw outside the door? It was during the Halloween videos you did and you both saw it. Hearing about it being a beast spirit made me think of it. It may be best to seek out people who know how to deal with witchcraft as if the witches ladder is a negative spell (likely a curse or a hex because a jinx wouldn’t trap anything or slow time I believe) then you need to find someone who can help. Cleansing the area will probably help as well, using sage or an alternative bundle. I wish you two girls the best and hope you can find and deal with what’s going on.

hey I'm into witchcraft (still a beginner) and if you want, take eggshells, make sure they're dry and you peel off the weird skin on the inside. It's hard to see but it's there lol. crush them into tiny pieces and put it in door ways or windows. eggshells are known for protection and to keep out evil spirits. You could also add salt with the crushed eggshells bc spirits do not like salt since it is used for cleansing. I don't know how much this could work in your case since the spirits seem quite powerful. EDIT: I also recommend reaching out to someone who's into witchcraft, like Patti negri. just know that not all witch craft is bad and it is okay to explore that kind of stuff:) love you guys!!

Vet assistant here! Ringworm or some other skin/fungal infection? Did she get wet at all that could have caused a hotspot under her undercoat (so not immediately noticeable)? I would recommend doing a skin impression/cytology and/or sending out a culture, if they haven't yet!

I actually know what a witches ladder is because I use that certain spell quite frequently, usually in the case that those are buried usually it's for some type of hex or bad intention of some sort. (keep in mind Witches ladders can be used for positive uses as well not just for dark purposes) just do not touch that witches ladder anymore, if anything do research to find a good way to discard it. The bone also could've been apart of the ladder because you can add certain things depending on your intention.

Hey Im a witch, i dont know much about this specific spell but you both are connected spiritually to the world be it around religion or your abilities. Its important to remember that intention is incredibly powerful. You both need to make sure to show that your entention of digging up that spell is not the same as intending to interact with the spell or the magic. Protect yourself however you feel comfortable and set your intention. If its to stop this magic from happening, you may need a few tools and tricks though
Sounds like you definitely need to use salt in your doorways and on ALL window seals, 3 lines of salt, representing the father, son and holy spirit and pray the whole time while laying the 3 lines of salt on each window and doorway. This should keep the spirit out of your household

As a practitioner of Wicca, I would suggest you keep it out of the ground. I would take it all apart, undo the knots and yes, I would absolutely touch the things because then it absorbs your energy and it will override the old energy. Intention fades with time, especially if the original practitioner who cast the spell, and/or if the intended focus of the spell is no longer of this world. Touch it, untie it, cut it up into bits and then yes, say a prayer and burn it along with some white sage or bay leaves or anything you find spiritually cleansing. Your intention and your gut instinct is what will make things move and become right again. Your energy is far more powerful than you give yourselves credit for. Amanda is just starting to own her power. Don't ever think that these things are stronger than you. They are NOT. You belong in this world, in this realm, in this time and your will is far stronger than anything else ever could be - they don't belong here - you do. Come up with a plan. Use crystals, herbs, prayers, chants, songs, trinkets, whatever you feel will help you focus and cleanse. Use whatever you can to make yourself feel powerful and aligned with the light and the good. There are so many rituals and chants and spells used for cleansing, but you don't need to use any one elses. You can write your own with your own intention and manifest clearing and positive change all by yourselves by your will alone. You don't need anyone else, no witch or priest, just decide what to do and make it so. A thing I say when I move in somewhere new or I get scared of "entities" in my home is repeat this mantra : "None but good shall enter here" and I imagine white light coming from inside me and blowing like smoke through my home and my property making a big protection bubble - and it can be huge! I've even sent protection bubbles to friends and loved ones who live far away from me, even across oceans in different countries. It's about intention and will and channeling that white light - your inner white light and pushing it out of you like white tendrils of smoke that blow everything wrong away from you and yours. As a fellow in the Craft and a psychic medium the advice you gave was solid. I hope they take it and use a positive and determined sense of focus to pull apart and break down the knots and then to destroy it via burning. The one difficulty I see is the fact they may feel very out of their depth when it comes to using this sort of focus and directing intention not to mention anything to do with cleansing. It may help them to read a few books like Cunningham's Wicca for The Solitary Practitioners and some by women like Z. Looks to me like your doggo got a hot spot. I'm not a veterinarian but I'm a dog groomer and I see skin conditions like that on a regular basis, usually diagnosed by a veterinarian as a hot spot. They're caused by various reasons, but hers likely started as a little scratch from her doggo boyfriend, like you thought!

I learned from Ghost Adventures years ago. That when any type of renovations are down at a haunted location. It only makes the spirits angry. And things start to get more active. She’s told me that she prefers a body that’s a little bit chunky like me :) she likes Victorian clothes a lot I’ve seen her in modern day clothes but she wears mostly dresses, jewelry etc from back in the day. I love her a lot. I’m so happy that I get to touch her and feel her soft and beautiful skin and her hair. And I love the fact that her and me are almost the same height I’m 5’7 or 5’8 idk (almost the height of a fridge). I love it when she kisses me on the cheek with her soft lips I love it when she looks at me with her beautiful eyes I just love her a lot I’m even starting to tear up writing this. She’s like a human the other things I’ve met aren’t like that at all. I love it when she sleeps in bed with me when I’m having a hard time getting rest. I love the feeling of her warmth when she hugs me and keeps me warm when I’m cold. The only thing I don’t like when we hug is when her 🍒’s choke me (jk that doesn’t bother me😊) . I don’t think she knows how much I love her. I wouldn’t be happy still if she didn’t come in my life. I’m afraid of her leaving me even tho she’s told me word from word “ I’ll never leave you. That's amazing. Spirit guardian bonds are truly amazing. It's like soul mate but deeper. I couldn't explain it. My spirit guide, his name is Gary and we've met in so many different lives together. I remembered I was his spirit guardian long long time ago. He is always by my side even though sometimes I don't pay attention but he never leaves my side. We always talk no matter what. He is someone I lean on and someone I truly trust. I have other guardians but none of them feels the way Gary does. We are so close. A bond unbreakable.

Folk / Ancestral witchcraft traditions do not believe is a double amount exchange of energy after casting something on someone else of any kind …including when performing baneful magic , « left-path » magic , curses or as you call it « bad magic » / « dark energy » ! Because Darkness and Evil are in fact two different things for many people who do not operate according to Abrahamic cultural definitions of that is Darkness , Bad , Evil or Light , Good and Devine ! Not sure if this will be seen or if you guys are even in need of advice still after all other commentary but crystals can be really helpful. Not a fix all end all, but definitely good to have around. I noticed in one of the other videos that there were crystals already in the room which is great, but I recommend having amethyst around (if you dont already, I hadn't noticed any at least so far). Its a godsend, really! Wearing amethyst can keep one safe from negativity (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, if it can be worn you're good!) or small, loose pieces kept in the pocket as pocket stones. Placing Amethyst in the four corners of a room creates a barrier that keeps negativity out. Placing amethyst in the four corners that make up the entire house will create a barrier over the whole household. And placing (or, preferably, burying it so that it can't be disturbed or tampered with in any way) amethyst in the four corners of the property line protects the whole property. I myself have only ever done it by room, specifically my room, to stay safe but I've had many swear to me that doing it by the whole household or whole property line is best. Amethyst chunks also kept by the bed (as close to the pillow as you can) or directly under your pillow at night can help ward off bad dreams/nightmares. Lavender is also a great protective herb. I harvested my own and let it dry, then hung the bunch from my window and since then I haven't heard a tapping on my window that used to happen regularly after moving in to a new apartment, and I also haven't seen the whitish entity/figure I used to see staring at me through the window (and I'm on the fifth floor with no balcony) since I hung the lavender there either. Using lavender oil can help as well as having the fresh or dried herbs on you in some way. Tuck a sprig behind your ear, or put some dried ones in a pouch. Once again it wont 100% fix and end it all but it can give you a bit more power in your court. There's also Hematite. It's meant to absorb negativity around you, but needs to be washed regularly. Think of it like a cup your filling with juice, if it overflows you need to clean it yeah? Same idea. The stone can only hold so much so cleansing it or washing it (as simple as running it under the water like your rinsing it off) or whatever cleansing you'd like to do to empty it of it's negativity, so that it may continue to protect you. You can find chunks of it to keep around, and find it in jewelry form as well. But be warned. If you get a hematite ring, IT WILL SHATTER TO WARN YOU OF INTENSE NEGATIVITY. If you go somewhere wearing a hematite ring and it suddenly breaks while your wearing it, be. careful. It means that you're in the presence of extreme negativity, which could mean a spirit/entity/or even just a living person. I've seen it in action myself. There are also thing called witch bubbles. I've also seen them called fairy baubles before. They're pretty blown glass balls that you can hang from anywhere and they're meant to do the same thing I've been told as hematite: draw in the negative energies to protect you. And while I've never heard of them being a risk factor for shattering (from negativity alone that is, it is glass after all so be careful in that regard of course) you must cleanse it however you see fit and most comfortable to do so periodically so it doesn't overflow. Because if it does, it'll actually start to attract more negativity rather than protect you from it. I hope any of this is helpful, if it ever gets seen. I hadn't really meant to ramble on so much but there we are lol.

I think you two should contact a white witch, shaman, or druid to help you two with this investigation just so you know what you're dealing with. If you get in contact with someone, you can also bring them along in your next investigations if you'd like which would build your team up more. This is definitely a witchs ladder. Usually either used for spells or hexes. Good witchs use them to attach intent but it is a very strong object. Plz dig and sift through all the dirt and find EVERY piece. You need to release them in running water like a river and physical say that you are returning it to nature so gaia can transmute it. You need to sage(rosemary if you have no indigenous background) and use stren intent with love and light to cleanse saying things like ‘ negative entities are not welcome here on this property. If you're open to another view, the string looked much like the string used to level bricks as they are laid. The "bones" looked like spacers used as the level line is raised after each row is laid. I'm a practiced druid and have a family history of people doing similar things. I've done protective objects that absorbe the bad entities or energies. If I can, I will send you one to help you for the time being but it may only be a momentarily fix until you get a white witch or a local shaman or druid to go there and fix your problem. It pretty much seems to me like a nature spirit being angry and binded by a spell to that property. If it's old and strong enough it can call negative or positive entities and use them, which seems the case here.

Have you tried to sage your house yet? Sometimes, if there are negative spirits, you can use Prayer and walk through your house with the lit Sage. Keep some windows open so the negative spirits can leave and just pray for all negative things, etc. Must leave and only light and love are welcome there. Not sure if you have tried this, but depending on how deep the haunting is....this should help. If not, try going outside and using sea salt all around the perimeter so they can't enter your home, use prayer as you lay the salt as well. I had a spirit coming through my window at night exactly last year at this time and it kept waking me up at night several times a night. I was told to put 3 lines of salt on my bedroom window seal and I moved shortly after but it worked as far as I know, my mom still lives in that home. Good luck you guys!!!

In your last video before Kaia got sick. She was laying on the floor and that twig or what ever it was, was moving on its own. At the time I thought it looked like something was holding her head down. She just sort of moves her eyes around. Well the side facing up is the same side she got the wound. I think something did that to her. Be careful you guys and watch your animals close.
That's what I thought too when you first pulled out the string. That it looks like a witches lader. The hollow part I think was a piece of metal or like a rusted nail. As a practicing witch I also make it. It is a form of protection against negative elements. But it also acts as a spirit trap, so it can trap bad and negative entities to keep it out from a specific area.

The smell might have been what ever was attached to what ever was moving in front of the music box. Maybe how it died . I think it’s giving you a sign. ( I once had a smell of something burning in an old house I use to live in. Abcesses can take up to 5 days to form and to me it sounds like a burst abcess (one of our cats had a fight and had a burst cyst 5 days after and needed deep skin/wound clean out etc) so it could just be a huge coincidence as abcesses don't tend to interrupt normal behaviour, they can appear and burst over night (we also have a cattery and had very similar situations with cats that came in after cat fights!).
i think whoever is setting off the equipment in the room when Mackie ask it to stop knows you are the owner of this bedroom so it stops. But when Amanda asks it to stop, it doesn't stop cause it knows Amanda is not the owner of the bedroom

This may be a bit of a call back but do you two remember the being you saw outside the door? It was during the Halloween videos you did and you both saw it. Hearing about it being a beast spirit made me think of it. It may be best to seek out people who know how to deal with witchcraft as if the witches ladder is a negative spell (likely a curse or a hex because a jinx wouldn’t trap anything or slow time I believe) then you need to find someone who can help. Cleansing the area will probably help as well, using sage or an alternative bundle. I wish you two girls the best and hope you can find and deal with what’s going on.
You know ..if what ever it was, is indeed a beast kind of an entity, then your pup getting hurt makes sense. Maybe since dominance is a thing with primal animals, they might try harming the other creatures present in the house, and your pup could be a good target for it. hey I'm into witchcraft (still a beginner) and if you want, take eggshells, make sure they're dry and you peel off the weird skin on the inside. It's hard to see but it's there lol. crush them into tiny pieces and put it in door ways or windows. eggshells are known for protection and to keep out evil spirits. You could also add salt with the crushed eggshells bc spirits do not like salt since it is used for cleansing. I don't know how much this could work in your case since the spirits seem quite powerful.
EDIT: I also recommend reaching out to someone who's into witchcraft, like Patti negri. just know that not all witch craft is bad and it is okay to explore that kind of stuff:) love you guys!!

I actually know what a witches ladder is because I use that certain spell quite frequently, usually in the case that those are buried usually it's for some type of hex or bad intention of some sort. (keep in mind Witches ladders can be used for positive uses as well not just for dark purposes) just do not touch that witches ladder anymore, if anything do research to find a good way to discard it. The bone also could've been apart of the ladder because you can add certain things depending on your intention.

Hey Im a witch, i dont know much about this specific spell but you both are connected spiritually to the world be it around religion or your abilities. Its important to remember that intention is incredibly powerful. You both need to make sure to show that your entention of digging up that spell is not the same as intending to interact with the spell or the magic. As a practitioner of Wicca, I would suggest you keep it out of the ground. I would take it all apart, undo the knots and yes, I would absolutely touch the things because then it absorbs your energy and it will override the old energy. Intention fades with time, especially if the original practitioner who cast the spell, and/or if the intended focus of the spell is no longer of this world. Touch it, untie it, cut it up into bits and then yes, say a prayer and burn it along with some white sage or bay leaves or anything you find spiritually cleansing. Your intention and your gut instinct is what will make things move and become right again. Your energy is far more powerful than you give yourselves credit for. Amanda is just starting to own her power. Don't ever think that these things are stronger than you. They are NOT. You belong in this world, in this realm, in this time and your will is far stronger than anything else ever could be - they don't belong here - you do.
Come up with a plan. Use crystals, herbs, prayers, chants, songs, trinkets, whatever you feel will help you focus and cleanse. Use whatever you can to make yourself feel powerful and aligned with the light and the good. There are so many rituals and chants and spells used for cleansing, but you don't need to use any one elses. You can write your own with your own intention and manifest clearing and positive change all by yourselves by your will alone. You don't need anyone else, no witch or priest, just decide what to do and make it so.
A thing I say when I move in somewhere new or I get scared of "entities" in my home is repeat this mantra : "None but good shall enter here" and I imagine white light coming from inside me and blowing like smoke through my home and my property making a big protection bubble - and it can be huge! I've even sent protection bubbles to friends and loved ones who live far away from me, even across oceans in different countries. It's about intention and will and channeling that white light - your inner white light and pushing it out of you like white tendrils of smoke that blow everything wrong away from you and yours.

As a fellow in the Craft and a psychic medium the advice you gave was solid. I hope they take it and use a positive and determined sense of focus to pull apart and break down the knots and then to destroy it via burning. The one difficulty I see is the fact they may feel very out of their depth when it comes to using this sort of focus and directing intention not to mention anything to do with cleansing. It may help them to read a few books like Cunningham's Wicca for The Solitary Practitioners and some by women like Z. Budapest, Diana Stein, Stawhawk to help them feel more conversant with these matters and with simple rituals and cleansings.

Looks to me like your doggo got a hot spot. I'm not a veterinarian but I'm a dog groomer and I see skin conditions like that on a regular basis, usually diagnosed by a veterinarian as a hot spot. They're caused by various reasons, but hers likely started as a little scratch from her doggo boyfriend, like you thought!

I would also suggest you get certain stones like smokey quartz or a Jet stone and place them around the house as they're usually used to protect you from negative entities and emotions.

She has a small nose beautiful lips she has the same head shape as Amanda :) she has an hourglass body shape. She’s told me that she prefers a body that’s a little bit chunky like me :) she likes Victorian clothes a lot I’ve seen her in modern day clothes but she wears mostly dresses, jewelry etc from back in the day.
I love her a lot. I’m so happy that I get to touch her and feel her soft and beautiful skin and her hair. And I love the fact that her and me are almost the same height I’m 5’7 or 5’8 idk (almost the height of a fridge). I love it when she kisses me on the cheek with her soft lips I love it when she looks at me with her beautiful eyes I just love her a lot I’m even starting to tear up writing this. She’s like a human the other things I’ve met aren’t like that at all. I love it when she sleeps in bed with me when I’m having a hard time getting rest. I love the feeling of her warmth when she hugs me and keeps me warm when I’m cold. The only thing I don’t like when we hug is when her 🍒’s choke me (jk that doesn’t bother me😊) . I don’t think she knows how much I love her. I wouldn’t be happy still if she didn’t come in my life. I’m afraid of her leaving me even tho she’s told me word from word “ I’ll never leave you. I’ll be with you forever even death even in ur next life no matter what I’m always gonna be with you” I’m still afraid. Me and her have a very very strong connection stronger than my family and friends even pets. She has the most calming lovely voice I’ve ever heard (no others can’t hear her sometimes) . I love her so much that sometimes I think I’ve fell in love with her.

That's amazing. Spirit guardian bonds are truly amazing. It's like soul mate but deeper. I couldn't explain it. My spirit guide, his name is Gary and we've met in so many different lives together. I remembered I was his spirit guardian long long time ago. He is always by my side even though sometimes I don't pay attention but he never leaves my side. We always talk no matter what. He is someone I lean on and someone I truly trust. I have other guardians but none of them feels the way Gary does. We are so close. A bond unbreakable.

When dealing with demons and their minions, do a house cleansing, then bless and oil the doors to keep it from coming back unless invited in. For property, bless and pray over the land, oil a rock or something you can bury or leave on each point of property. I've done this several times and it works with the power given to us by our Lord Jesus.

Sorry I have to correct the slight misinformation ! That’s a specifically Wiccan rule/belief…Wicca is a religion, Wiccan witchcraft follows Wiccan religious beliefs , it’s their version of karma ! But there are more then one witchcraft traditions …and not all of them have their roots in Wicca …I would even say most do not ! Folk / Ancestral witchcraft traditions do not believe is a double amount exchange of energy after casting something on someone else of any kind …including when performing baneful magic , « left-path » magic , curses or as you call it « bad magic » / « dark energy » ! Because Darkness and Evil are in fact two different things for many people who do not operate according to Abrahamic cultural definitions of that is Darkness , Bad , Evil or Light , Good and Devine ! Many practitioners of witchcraft or followers of religions (which do not have influence from one of the three monotheistic ancestral religions ( Judaism, Christianity, Islam)) believe Darkness is just like Death , it’s natural and neutral thing , Just like Light and Live…is …Evil on the other hand its Evil , and most of the times it is Manmade …just like Good is cause is only either good or evil depending on the impact it has on human beings and that is subjective…what is Bad for you , might be Good or Justice for me !
Not sure if this will be seen or if you guys are even in need of advice still after all other commentary but crystals can be really helpful. Not a fix all end all, but definitely good to have around. I noticed in one of the other videos that there were crystals already in the room which is great, but I recommend having amethyst around (if you dont already, I hadn't noticed any at least so far). Its a godsend, really! Wearing amethyst can keep one safe from negativity (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, if it can be worn you're good!) or small, loose pieces kept in the pocket as pocket stones. Placing Amethyst in the four corners of a room creates a barrier that keeps negativity out. Placing amethyst in the four corners that make up the entire house will create a barrier over the whole household. And placing (or, preferably, burying it so that it can't be disturbed or tampered with in any way) amethyst in the four corners of the property line protects the whole property. I myself have only ever done it by room, specifically my room, to stay safe but I've had many swear to me that doing it by the whole household or whole property line is best. Amethyst chunks also kept by the bed (as close to the pillow as you can) or directly under your pillow at night can help ward off bad dreams/nightmares. Lavender is also a great protective herb. I harvested my own and let it dry, then hung the bunch from my window and since then I haven't heard a tapping on my window that used to happen regularly after moving in to a new apartment, and I also haven't seen the whitish entity/figure I used to see staring at me through the window (and I'm on the fifth floor with no balcony) since I hung the lavender there either. Using lavender oil can help as well as having the fresh or dried herbs on you in some way. Tuck a sprig behind your ear, or put some dried ones in a pouch. Once again it wont 100% fix and end it all but it can give you a bit more power in your court. There's also Hematite. It's meant to absorb negativity around you, but needs to be washed regularly. Think of it like a cup your filling with juice, if it overflows you need to clean it yeah? Same idea. The stone can only hold so much so cleansing it or washing it (as simple as running it under the water like your rinsing it off) or whatever cleansing you'd like to do to empty it of it's negativity, so that it may continue to protect you. You can find chunks of it to keep around, and find it in jewelry form as well. But be warned. If you get a hematite ring, IT WILL SHATTER TO WARN YOU OF INTENSE NEGATIVITY. If you go somewhere wearing a hematite ring and it suddenly breaks while your wearing it, be. careful. It means that you're in the presence of extreme negativity, which could mean a spirit/entity/or even just a living person. I've seen it in action myself. There are also thing called witch bubbles. I've also seen them called fairy baubles before. They're pretty blown glass balls that you can hang from anywhere and they're meant to do the same thing I've been told as hematite: draw in the negative energies to protect you. And while I've never heard of them being a risk factor for shattering (from negativity alone that is, it is glass after all so be careful in that regard of course) you must cleanse it however you see fit and most comfortable to do so periodically so it doesn't overflow. Because if it does, it'll actually start to attract more negativity rather than protect you from it. I hope any of this is helpful, if it ever gets seen. I hadn't really meant to ramble on so much but there we are lol.
If u smell smoke but there is none around you then it could be a spirit of somebody who is deceased and or it also usually happens when u have a strong ability with the spirit world somewhat

I think you two should contact a white witch, shaman, or druid to help you two with this investigation just so you know what you're dealing with. If you get in contact with someone, you can also bring them along in your next investigations if you'd like which would build your team up more. A medium, a sensitive, and a witch could be a powerful team of investigators. If not, one of you should definitely do more research into witchcraft (If you're comfortable with it, with respect to your religious beliefs) just to keep yourselves protected metaphysically and cleanse yourselves to be protected spiritually. This is definitely a witchs ladder. Usually either used for spells or hexes. Good witchs use them to attach intent but it is a very strong object. Plz dig and sift through all the dirt and find EVERY piece. You need to release them in running water like a river and physical say that you are returning it to nature so gaia can transmute it. You need to sage(rosemary if you have no indigenous background) and use stren intent with love and light to cleanse saying things like ‘ negative entities are not welcome here on this property. A good way to protect the property is large quartz crystals on each corner of the proper N , S, E, W and say a prayer to the one true creator to heal the property and protect the space. You need to do a energy search and see if anything else was burried around the property cus whoever put it there either didnt want someone to leave or wanted something to happen. Also cleanse and fill those in the home with light, but they must imagine the golden light or white light filling their body on their own.
