I was next to you the other day at the TA in.cartersville Georgia. I was going to say hi or something dumb. My fuel card wouldn't work so I had to drive back to Marietta. terminal to get another card. Rain, flat tire on trailer, fuel card screwed up, and driving through Atlanta twice. All on the same day.

Great job Kevin. Always interesting as to what you may get into. Great job backing. Looking forward to your next adventure. Have a great day and be safe.
I love these kinds of loads. A chance to do something a little different and get a little exercise. If the company pays me a little extra that's even better!
I love how even trucker's gps wants trucks to turn left or right on to streets that there is absolutely no way on earth that a truck could turn on to, even if there was no traffic and they turned from the far side of the road.
They are designed to be used as septic tanks (sewage), but they can be used to store other liquids, but they aren't the best option for storage tanks because they have no outlets at the bottom so the liquid would have to be pumped out.
Did you guys happen to be in Arkansas at all on Sunday November 13th around noon? I passed a crete truck on a small curvy country road between a church and an airport on hwy 12 outside Bentonville.
Nope. Not us. One of the other 4,500 Crete Freightliners. 😉 But thanks for keeping your eye out for us. One day it could be us. And we love meeting our subscribers. 😃
Was that dispatched as a driver assist or driver tailgate unload? I ask because those are actually an extra charge to the customer and drivers are supposed to be paid extra for that when the customer requests it. If you choose to do so when it is not part of the dispatch, you're basically volunteering to work for free.
Regardless of how it was dispatched, if they required him to tailgate the load he should be paid. Other option would for the company to send out a work crew to unload it. I've been in both situations. Company hired a crew to unload tires at a customer that insisted I was responsible for getting them off my truck. And I've tailgated loads at Lowe's.
@@truckingwithj7202 I work for the same company (almost 11 years with them), procedure is if it is not driver unload, contact dispatch before you "fingerprint" the load so it can be arranged for the driver to get paid and the customer billed for the extra service. Typically, deliveries to Lowe's stores are contractually no touch for the driver.
Well if you get extra stop pay then that covers that if your trip has 2 or more stops. If it's only one then yes they certainly should get extra pay for having to help with unloading.
@@TheJoyofTrucking always check your bills for driver unload/assist. Regardless if it's on there check with your travel agent if they want you to do either one. By the way I get why you did it, to speed things up, but after 37 years of this gig trust me the more you do it for free the more the customers and your company will expect it next time. Truck it safe guys 😎
Hi there! When you start with them they decide if they want to put an inward facing camera based on your experience and record. Kevin had one for his first two months. Yes…pet friendly. Might have some restrictions, double check with a recruiter, and they do have a fee as far as we know. Hope that helps!!😃
Why do you say Crete would be a good company to work for? I have watched all your videos including the comparison between Crete and Werner. There are so many other videos out there saying one company is better than the other.
Werner sucks. They are super cheap and if you're a solo driver you're lucky to get 2,000 miles a week, and if you deliver on Fri. night and they don't have you a load to run over the weekend then get ready to sit until Mon. That's where I started in 2010 and left them in less than a year because I got tired of less than 2,000 miles a week at .26 cpm. Werner is no comparison to Crete. Crete will keep you lined up with loads and miles and their pay is good.

Kevin should make an update on his pay ! I know he’s balling right now 😉😉

That wasn't a live load,it was a live unload.
Yes indeed. 😃
Your load makes me wonder the purpose of all those items.
I haven't delivered I've unloaded a many trailers of many styles and products
Cool!! Many interesting things I bet!
What did they ever use them kind of thanks for especially that round one The square one's eye used one kind of like that for herbicides on the farm

Our guess is septic. Or water. And then there’s that big hand grenade. 🤪
😆 Music

Companies don't pay for assisting with unloading regardless they will bill the customer

Is this considered "assist freight " ?
There was not officially anything different. Kevin just decided to help.
I do have 2 questions. Does Crete have driver facing camera's and do they have a pet policy?
They only put a camera in your truck if you have an accident, and it's only in there for 3-6 months, and they are pet friendly.
