You're very welcome! And gotta tell you, I absolutely LOVE New Zealand and your culture and people! And your accent? The best! My favorite. So, you just made my day!
Hi chris I just subscribed to your blogs and I'm scared of moth and I want to get over my fear of moth so can I ask you to do a video about just moth plz
I would be happy to. It's a little tough at this time of year but maybe I can with all the B-roll I have. Try to remind me if I don't do one soon. Thanks
There is ONE carnivorous butterfly. The Harvestor butterfly. It feeds on Wooly aphids, which may be found near ants. There are a few species of carnivorous moth but I think they feed on aphids also. I also think the moths that do feed on mean (quite rare!) do so in caterpillar stage.
"Kinda like they skipped leg day at the gym"..... LOL !!!! Thanks for the excellent video Chris. Thumbs-up !
Using this to show my class here in New Zealand we have some awesome moths here :) love this thank you!

@@chrisegnoto thanks it would be great and no need to be in a hurry to make it just do one for me when you have the time
Night butterflys are my favorite between the butterfly and the moths . I love butterflys , but moths are so much cooler and also prettier.
hawk moths also had coiled up tounges (probocis)
Oh, that's cool to know, thanks. They say it is the exception that proves the rule, although I think that is a strange statement lol
Great video 😁... Thanks!!
Thank you. I truly hope it helps you to see the difference. Thanks for commenting
Nice vid dude.

정말 사소한 것을 특별하게 관찰해서 흥미롭게 보고있어요
Informative.
How you touch the butterfly
I am lucky when it comes to wildlife. I just use my intuition I guess.

Nature Now! - Chris Egnoto. Very good quality and a lot of info. My favorite.
You learn students?
I do :) All ages.
I am far better in person though :)
I saw a butter fly at the pool
some moths are bigger like the atlas moth
Yeah, there is another species that is even bigger
Wow Wee!! Moths often have no mouths? How do they they feed and what do they eat? Don't forget leg day!
Moth looks ugly butterfly looks good
Simplest and easiest way to distinguish
Yep looking for the comment
Easy!
One eats leaves, one eats lamp lol
Why yes, yes that is true. Bring on the lamp.
