SnipingHunt01 this is what I'm trying to tell everyone in the comments. Feminists seem to ignore the parts that don't suit them, such as being equal to men by taking punches and being objects of violence for comedy. I'm going to complain to itv tomorrow.
First, to the youtuber who post the video love your videos keep up it and and stay safe. Tim(who always been funny)and the catfight was hilarious. I be honest I never liked Tracy, Steve, and Leanne until just recently. Tracy and Steve relationship is built on lies, cheating, manipulation, using a Amy as a weapon, or an excuse. Leanne never liked her because the way she handles our relationships with men, her back and forth relationship with Nick, but what's happening with her son is making me have a change of heart. It's sad this is happening to him at such a young age I hope he doesn't die, but only time can tell.
ok so i wrote an email to ITV complaining about Corrie promoting domestic violence against men. Here was their response: ''Many thanks for your email regarding Coronation Street. All dramas fall into two categories either Tragedy or Comedy and Soaps combine a mixture of both. Coronation Street lets its viewers look down on the residents of Coronation Street coping with life’s trials and tribulations. This means that highly dramatic situations have to be addressed and pursued, including violence against the person. These moments have to be balanced and within the requirements of the Broadcast Code as to what may be said and shown before the watershed and we go to considerable lengths to ensure that we fully comply with its requirements. As you will know violence is not something new to Coronation Street and we have always reflected the less than savoury side of life in the UK within the show and the programme has featured dark and sometimes controversial stories going back over many decades. Nevertheless I can assure you that your comments have reached both our Producer and Series Editor and I hope your concerns do not detract from your future engagement with the drama we show in Coronation Street. If you would like to take this matter further you can contact our regulator Ofcom at Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London, SW1 9HA. Yours with Kind Regards, .....Coronation Street.'' My response was: ''Ok so in that case is it 'comedy' for a female to punch a male? Is domestic violence comedy?''
...I was in 2 yrs with a man...they do hidden stuff...creepy stuff in bed, his friends all came on to me & he didn't blink an eye at them. After he pushed me down to the floor I got up again & walloped him. Tae bad...for me it was. Tae bad for him, fog. Lucky I didnt kick him in the face; I was triple in the legs as I was, benching over my weight.
Exactly Samuel. People seem to find it funny when a woman hits a man, but not when a man hits a woman. Either both genders can hit one another or no hitting at all. Equality, people. I thought feminism was supposed to be consistent. All it seems to be is double standards and cherry picking.
@Alicia Richards Or kept within the genders. Men just hit men, and women just hit women. Its less unfair that way and doesn't cause as much offence. Not that I like violence, but it happens. People didn't used to think much of women hitting men, but now that feminists are screaming equality all the time (people like you really know the meaning of equality) I find them promoting stuff like this just brazen impudence. Its a real hypocrisy
@@Englishsea24 exactly women are 'feminsts' when it suits them but so many of the feminists I chat to seem to completely misunderstand what true feminism means ie. EQUALITY and not misandry. It is no wonder even many of the hard core feminists today hate feminism as only a real feminist would not find this clip funny or worthy of the cause they are fighting for.
Why did Steve go back to Tracy, I mean her lies and deceitfulness cost him his relationship with the one woman who he's ever truly loved, Becky. He didn't like her that much when they were going out before all the lies so why would he go back to her now. Really poor and pointless writing from corrie's creative team.
Because they have a kid together, and because Tracy made him and he is too weak to say no. Steve is a very weak character in general, Tracy has him whipped in all areas. He does whatever she says. Kinda pathetic really.
Exactly, if anyone knows how manipulative and dangerous Tracy can be, it's Steve, he's known her through all of it. Yet he still chooses to go back to her.....clearly has a masochistic streak lol
I'm going to be complaining to itv tomorrow about this, you may laugh at me but I'm actually fed up of male rights being neglected. I'm not a man but I'm observant enough to see how this society is not at all fair for men when it comes to violence. Would we ever show a woman getting hit by a man for comedic purposes, even if like Steve, she 'deserved it'? Didn't think so. Feminism is just about cherry picking the best parts of equality for women it seems. If we were truly equal, we'd be getting punched by men in comedy for laughs, just like Steve in this clip. It's not about whether he deserved it or not. It's about the pure hypocrisy, the fact that if Tracy cheated on him, he would get arrested if he punched her. And I don't think you lot would be laughing, would you? So if any of you really do care about equal rights, then you'd find this unfair and complain to itv, like I'm doing. I'm not stupid. I'm logical and consistent in my beliefs.
