This session was so unbelievably good! This song in particular made a lasting impression. Jyonson Tsu's vocals are fantastic! Easily my new favorite version of Dark Star Blues!
I saw them like 20 years ago, still have never seen anything live the came close to them. They played an extended version of pink lady lemonade (which is already like 45 minutes long)
One of the best performances I’ve stumbled across. I find this very beautiful & moving. The whole thing is mind expanding but that gentle guitar just takes me someplace elser. 🎸✨
Can't wait to see them in Boston again. Too bad my favorite venue for them closed last year :( In a different timeline they would've been here this Thursday.
Fuckin amazing! I really can’t wait. I’ve been hoping AMT would do a session. I only wish I could buy that poster! I’ve seen them like 5 or maybe 6 times? It’s a transcendent experience. This captures it wonderfully. Definitely play this loud to get a glimpse of that impenetrable wall of glorious sound they send to you in person heh
I believe it’s a Roland SH-09. Just picked up a solo CD from Higashi Hiroshi at their recent AMT show in Tampa, and there is a quote in English on the inside of the CD artwork from from him talking about how the SH-09 was his first synthesizer and that he’s gone through many since his first in the 70’s.
Not necessarily!!! Jyonson Tsu is known to sing in a fictional language, similar to the singer of 'Cocteau Twins', but we could try to guess... perhaps?
Jyonson Tsu. He’s very talented and also very kind to talk to. I just recently talked to both him and Higashi Hiroshi at their recent AMT show in Tampa, and they’re great people! Don’t judge a book by the cover.
There is so much good new music and bands at the minute (🙏 TG). There is so many innovative and brilliant psych/rock bands out there too, this is not one of them!
I'm gonna book these dudes for my wedding
I had that idea for my 40th bday but then the pandemic screwed it all up. Hopefully it can work for my 50th bday.
Crazy thing is that they will probably take the gig. They work damn hard these days
jajaja me too, good idea, it could be our entrance or like, hello, I have something to say:
It's hard to believe that I first saw AMT over 20 years ago. It’s great to see Kawabata-san, Hiroshi-san and the others still going strong.
I can die happy knowing I've seen these guys live. I love them so much.
I can't even describe what the hell happens with me, as soon as I hear them... It's simply... ethereal... Big pleasure have seen them live... ♥️
I've seen them live twice and both times, the end of the performance just felt like I'd been through a wormhole. Powerful stuff. 🌌
The Emotion in his Knob though
All we need now is an afrirampo levitation session.
This Person is right!
I miss them
I'm seeing them for the second time in two days. Cannot wait.
Iowa city show?
One of my favorite bands of all time ! Transcendent !
Seeing tonight for the 2nd time. In Iowa of all places. Blew my mind first time on two tabs.
this sounds like the soundtrack behind, as a ancient sage tells the legendary story of two battling wizards!! cool!

Smile on the bassist face says it all. Cool.
saw them once in a tiny club…SO LOUD
Same. The guitarist’s Marshall was unbelievably loud, in particular.
Blew my eardrums out and heard psychedelic ringing for weeks after
Never gets old

Very similar feelings

Going to see these guys live tomorrow, super stoked!
This is magic
I want the white hair guy as a father
i was thinking as a next-door neighbor
Nuevo descubrimiento! Que bueno que exista gente que tenga una perspectiva diferente de la amplitud de la música.
This totally fucking rocks! They've still got it!
This Holiday Inn is lit!
Absolutely brilliant!
The main riff puts me in mind of Earth's "Charioteer (Temple Song)", from Pentastar.
This is amazing.
wow I love this trip
Tom Waits, Miles Davis and Higashi Hiroshi...the coolest guy's to walk the face of the planet..ever.
higashi hiroshi is who inspired me to get into weird synths and effects
Can't wait to see them in Boston again. Too bad my favorite venue for them closed last year :( In a different timeline they would've been here this Thursday.
Bloody excellent, love it
I didn't know psychedelic acid rock bands still existed, would love to see them live.
They’ve been around forever
They tour like crazy go see them!

@@lopilkderlll thanks dude
There are some lyrics around?
Not necessarily!!! Jyonson Tsu is known to sing in a fictional language, similar to the singer of 'Cocteau Twins', but we could try to guess... perhaps?
Same as Can,or Magma
Genre?
experimental rock?
Psychedelic rock. Reminds me a lot of Krautrock...
A fusion of noise, krautrock and David Allen's gong. I think you can call it psychedelic rock
Space rock/psychedelic rock. Check out Ozric Tentacles for a similar band that isn’t Japanese.
Thank goodness for drugs
Jazzdaa
Where's my paper?
I must be on Acid, cause I cannot tell what that thing singing on the left is... Freaking me out man...

are you positive about that now 🧐 to each their own!!
Sorry fans, but it sucks. Tell me, how often could you listen to this song? And for what: inspiration, chilling out, tripping? C'mon, give it a break.
Jokes on us. This is def satirical music right lmao
They are as serious as pissed off bees.
Yoko second garbage band
Merlin and the shaggs.
