- I rode at 90 km/h on the Duotts C29 electric bike, but not everything is as it seems. In this video, I answer your questions and discuss the downsides of this model. After 160 km of riding and a visit to a bike repair shop, I found out what's wrong with this bike. Find out why it can be dangerous and what modifications are necessary.

I found the best solution for the pedal assist problem is to remove it completely and rely on the throttle only and normal pedal , works great for me
This is the best solution. I got it from one of my viewers and i've been using only throttle so far (with PAS disabled). I just busted rear wheel...

I see one of these Duott C29 on amazon uk but it's advertised as a 250w bike. I take it that's just their way of being allowed to sell it in the uk but it's the normal unlockable 750w?
Yes, it's the same bike lol. They cant sell it differently

Were you able to decrease the speed limit to 25 Km/h maximum? Coz no matter what i do, i can’t reduce the speed below 50 max
I think it is parameter 08, I've seen videos where it was be reduced right down to 25km/hour
I failed to. Apparently the Chinese are testing a new controller (v3) and are going to send it to me. This one will have more options for assist settings and will allow you to specifically set each gear and sensitivity. But whether they will send this new controller or just promised it to me to get rid of me - we will find out soon.
Soo which e bike on budget is good according to you ? If this one is not.
Have you seen the full, 20-minute review of this bike on my channel? I answer many questions and show the bike in action. Unfortunately, I'm just developing the channel, so manufacturers don't want to lend bikes to a small creator like me for testing, but maybe that will change someday. Next season I'll try to buy 1-2 bikes from the e-bike segment and test them for you. I wanted to test local - Polish manufacturers like Romet, Cross, Ecobike, but it costs even 3 to 5 times more than this duotts.
@@JotemTV yeah European manufactured bikes are expensive and i think its not so much because of the expensive materials or high quality parts mostly i think personally its because of the expensive labor they have to pay for the working personal also the high taxes which they have to pay on everything and end product is not 300-500% better then the Chinese ones but its quite more expensive…

what about fiido c11?
It has the same problem as duotts - it pushes you forward as fast as it can to the max limit. Level 1 is around 20 kph, too. I can ask them if they can provide one for testing

It doesn't work with controller v2. Duotts is currently working on v3 which should deal with many problems
