Good lord. Back after 12 years. I was SUPER into Portal all those years ago even though I never had a way to play it (parents only allowed me and my older sibling to go onto sites like Miniclip and other flash game sites), and yet still young me was obsessed with this series because of how much Legend of Zelda I played. And the thing I loved most about the games were the Cores. Like, I’m pretty sure I had a Portal Core OC before I had a Sonic OC. I would watch these videos so many times because I thought these guys were actually characters in the universe, and I just wanted to learn more about the Portal universe. I would also watch the fan made songs and the fan mods on RUclips whenever I got home from school. 12 years later, I’ve finally gotten the chance to play through all of Portal 1 and start my journey in Portal 2. I love this (currently) duology, it’s one of my favorite games in the whole world. I just wish Valve wasn’t so scared of making games.

As much of how old this one is, it still impresses me of how well it holds up when compared to most Valve-based animations during its time period of release. The animation in particular is just great all around, the sound effects and voice acting are pretty bloody good, and the unique feeling you get from watching it adds so much to the original. After all these years, you really are one of the most high-quality animation channels on this cursed site. I tip my hat to you.
