Thanks so much for this great video.😊We’ll be in Costa Rica first week in April and were planning to stay in Samara for a few days, but I just read on TripAdvisor reviews from the past month saying that there was good amount of horse poop and dog poop on the beach, making it unpleasant to walk in the sand or go in the water. Did you notice this at all?
Hello Eve I walked the beach and swam for two weeks back in December and hardly noticed any horse poop, yes I have seen it but not often. I imagine the tide takes it away anyways. That's my personal observation. So go enjoy the Samara beach 👍
I have been to Samara many ties and the horse poop is my only complaint. I ended up with a bit of an ear infection from swimming there and my European friend also fell ill. It was during covid and I thought I had it. It cleared up when I moved. Try Playa Carillo about 5 miles south, a great day trip. Otherwise a Samara is a great place to meet people and enjoy great restaurants and bars. Be sure to hit the Saturday farmers market
