    Incredible clarity and power of expressiveness - a really profound Poulenc's work. Wouldn't say he's the greatest one - too many musical geniuses lived in France - but, certainly, one of the greatest French composers.

    Ah, how I love Poulenc... His particular blend of gaiety and profundity is second to none. The greatest all of French composers. Or in any case, one of the greatest. Immaculate performance from both singer and pianist. What a duo ! Many thanks for the upload.

      Je pense que Poulenc aurait refusé le titre de 'plus grand compositeur français'. Mais il est certainement parmi les plus attachants. Je l'adore!

      Yes I am sure he would abhor the very notion of being called a great composer. Which makes him all the greater and even more likable.

    j'aime aussi la version de R Crespin même si de nos jours l'interprétation a évoluée

      R Crespin est une référence évidemment mais la technique vocale a évoluée pour les nouvelles générations de chanteurs
