can't stress enough how valuable meekons advice is. I don't see enough people talking about how you should always try to be conscious about your decision making, it is probably the best way to improve, since in art its very easy to repeat certain things and stay in your comfort zone. being conscious will make you more original, give you a wider variety of tools and up your skills by a ton
Huge THANK YOU to Skynix for the opportunity to participate! It really means a lot to me. I've met so many great and talented people to learn and be inspired from, and to just have a good time with! I never felt so inspired before. Sending love to everyone, and thanks for watching 🩷

Leave it alone and come back to it later and you may find a better way to do it. • Do color palette challenges!! They are fun and can help you think critically about how to use color choices when the colors don't usually apply to what you're drawing. • Drawing a comic and really like a pose or background you drew in a previous panel? Extremely helpful when drawing multiple characters/objects in a scene and wanting to keep proportions/perspectives the same. • Push the expressiveness of the characters you're drawing. Unless you are going for realistic facial expressions, you can push the limits of how a face stretches and squishes to give a lot more personality to the character.

This video made my heart warm and tingly. Especially at the outro. Thank you (also, the artist number 48 is in the description but somehow it doesn't have a chapter, after 47 goes 49. wanted to notify)
Thank you so much for letting me take part in this Art Collaboration! I just love to see so many Art RUclipsrs come together and share their talents with others❤
Even as someone who works as artist full time, this video has so many good tips and reminders of stuff that we tend to forget! I know that im not nearly as good as i want to be, and that i still got a lot of things to work on, so thank you all for participating, your knowledge, and skynix for making this happen! i wish everyone in the vid, and everyone whos not, and just here to learn like me, an amazing art journey and that all of you get to where you want to be!
Once I stopped doing commissions or projects in one day, my art "improved" so much. I purposefully would stop working on a piece to reset my mind. The more you stare at something the more you hate it, so I learned to hide my art from myself periodically while I'm working on it. I'll also flip the canvas when I log off for the night so when I get back on the next time I work on it, I see all the mistakes from that side, fix them, and then flip it back and suddenly everything is super fresh and I see the true problems that were becoming muddy before.
i genuinely love sm how all these different artists with such different art styles and skill levels reunited to give tips that can help u some way or another its such a warm feeling ghdgfsefg idk how to explain it
i have a word of advice too: dont be afraid to tell yourself ‘no’. if you want to draw something, but the actual thing you want to create is making you uncomfortable, don’t force yourself to do it. no one else will, so why should you? if you force yourself to draw something you subconsciously really don’t want to, it’s not going to turn out as well as you’d expect, because you dont want to draw it. id recommend finding things to draw that you actually enjoy drawing instead, so you can improve comfortably :3
2:22 I think it also comes to the fact that some artists plan to send one artwork at that time, and another at another time, which is what makes it much more realistic. They plan.
I think the best part of this video, besides the really awesome tips, is that all these artists are so motivated and positive when giving good pieces of advice. That's what other artists who are still growing need when looking for good advice. Thank you so much for this
hellooo here are My personal tips to the artists reading this comment *1. Watermarking* Watermarks are when u write your account/channel/name/social media username onto a drawing. This can help with preventing people from screenshotting and stealing your art, claiming it as their own. I personally write/add my watermarks right in the face or main part of the drawing to prevent art thieves. I have seen alot of artists adding their watermark in the corner of their screen or having a very low opacity making it almost impossible to spot. Dont do that cz art thieves could just crop out your watermark and still claim ur art as their own. so yea, i recommend either putting your watermark near the main part(such as the face) of the drawing with full opacity or make it overlap onto the main focus of your drawing and turning the opacity down from 50-30. I also recommend NOT to write a signature since those are difficult to read for the viewers and people wont understand who's the art is truly from. *2. LineArt* Line art is the outline of your drawings(if it wasnt obvious-). now this could vary from person to person and different people have it different according to their artstyle. Here are some: You could make the Outer lines thicker and the inner lines thinner if you like that. You can keep the outer lines black and the inner ones a darker color of the flat color of your drawing. You could not use a lineart at all(better for a bit of realism art style). You can make it so that your entire lineart layer is made with one color which is a darker color of one of the parts of the character colorscheme. You could have little accents of very Bright colors(such as red) scribbled onto the lineart layer on a clipping layer above it. *3. Simple Color Theory* Most artists are familiar with color theory but few actually understand it so here's a simple guide. Opposite colors are very good together. for example: if your character is Blue, you could give it Red Eyes(red is the opposite color of blue) to compliment it or make the eyes pop. You could make it so that the shading is not grey or black since that pretty dull. You could use the complimenting color to make the shading pop. For example: You want to shade the peach arm of a character, try using red for the shades. It helps it pop and look less dead. You want to shade the bloody arms of a character, instead of using black, gray or darker red, you could use blue to help the blood pop. *_"Blood Pop" starts playing_* Here are the opposites of Colors for contrasting/pop of color: Red is opposite of Blue, Pink is opposite of green, Orange is opposite of Cyan, Black is opposite of White, Yellow is opposite of Purple, etc. also dark colors can contrast well with bright/light colors. *4. Brush For Shading* Maybe instead of using airbrush for shading, try testing or trying out other types of brushes similar to the airbrush for shading. i personally use a little bit of opaque brushes with realism drawing and more blended or blurred out brushes for my normal art. If you use Airbrush tho, it is perfectly fine and its not wrong, your art will still look okay. Thanks for Reading this if you did! I hope any of these helped with your art journey and my main art tip is. Keep growing little Star
this is honestly amazing, it shows how connected and helpful we are as a community, and it can really show that there are still amazing people in this hellscape that we call the internet, thank you
this was a great watch!!! the tips about photobashing for backgrounds and conceptualizing foreshortening through the radius of a ellipse?! AMAZING and i WILL be putting those to good use. also just great to see such a diversity in the art styles and artists themselves. inspiring in its own way! i'd love to see more videos like this, like 100 artists on what art does for them or how they've overcome some art-related weakness/difficulty or where they like to find inspiration or motivation.
It helped me alot! I watched this till the end and so much artist took their time to make this cool collab and send nice messages to people watching e.g. Do not fully follow what people criticize about you or hate on you which is so heartwarming! I loved everyone who typed this type of messages to people and took their time to make this! ❤
WOW! thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this video, it was very fun to see all these different cool people gather together and give art tips, it makes me want to go and draw aaaaahhhh!
so many of them helped me but the backgrounds thing omg I never thought of using a ton of images and mushing them together. Helps so much as someone that can't imagine anything well ^ ^
One pretty cool tip I thought of while watching this video is to draw with emotion. Doesn’t really matter wether it’s a positive or negative emotion, drawing with your feelings can make your art a lot more expressive. I personally really like to draw my rage, but anything’s good
To me is just crazy seeing all of these different artists That I've watched over these years All come together Just make a beautiful masterpiece Of these art tips Can't wait to apply these to my work!!
THIS IS SO USEFUL THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH 💖💖💖 Edit: I got jumpscared too many times by artists I know lmaoo, didn't expected it XD I also discovered many new, which is very cool!
#2 is crucial, especially if someone wants to get into tattooing, finding your design in the mess of a loose sketch and cleaning it up and building it into a sick tattoo is crucial, it was a game changer when i learned to just mess sketchy and worry about fixing it later
These tips were so helpful for me that I ended up saying thank you to the most of people that gave them. Thanks for the video! Or should I say, the tip compilation i guess. 😍😎👍
Okay, so since I learned SO much from this video, I have my own piece of advice as someone who's still a beginner in some aspects! NEVER colorpick from other's art or color palettes you come across That's a bit of an exaggeration btw. What I mean is try to figure out the color first, go to your color wheel and try to match the color the best you can; it never has to be exact or perfect, and if you're really struggling, you can then color pick to see around where it actually is. Doing this will help the best with color theory and make your art pop. For example, look at classic 2d animated movies like Disney's works or something similar, or heck you can look at your favorite classic anime! A favorite of mine to look at is classic Disney films or films from that era, like "The Princess and the Frog". You can see that the dark skin tone isn't always brown, sometimes it could be green or purple. What matters is that it is cohesive with the rest of the colors surrounding it I created an oc a while back and to look at her whole color palette, her skin looked like a chocolate color but when I actually color her skin, I used a darker desaturated purple because the rest of the colors made it make sense to the eyes. That's the best way I've learned color theory to this day, and I've grown so much since then! Hope this tip helps with progressing with your art!
Its crazy convenient that I saw this because I'm buying myself things at Christmas to get into Christmas. Thanks to everyone involved, I'm going to greatly appreciate these tips as I start off! :))
Thank you for the tips skynix, I love your videos and I am a big fan of your channel. My dream is to be on one of your videos someday home that can come true :)

Tips are so useful, and there are so many unique and beautiful artists! 100 artists is WILD! I LOVE IT!!
Can’t believe they really did it! Amazing work to all the artists who were involved in this video this was so cool!!! 🎉🎉🎉
i love this video, its comforting seeing a bunch of artists gather and give tips like this
Once I stopped doing commissions or projects in one day, my art "improved" so much.
LETS GOOOOOOO FULL TIPS VIDEO... so many incredible tips and artists, thank you for organizing this!! Glad I was able to participate! : D
YEAAAAHHH LET'S GO, so happy to have been a part of this thank you
i genuinely love sm how all these different artists with such different art styles and skill levels reunited to give tips that can help u some way or another its such a warm feeling ghdgfsefg idk how to explain it
i have a word of advice too: dont be afraid to tell yourself ‘no’.
if you want to draw something, but the actual thing you want to create is making you uncomfortable, don’t force yourself to do it. no one else will, so why should you? if you force yourself to draw something you subconsciously really don’t want to, it’s not going to turn out as well as you’d expect, because you dont want to draw it. id recommend finding things to draw that you actually enjoy drawing instead, so you can improve comfortably :3
biggest and best collab ever?!!! love your videos, this is awesome for all artists!!! excited to be at the premiere!!!
This is a lot and I mean A LOT of great tips, I appreciate it and I hope everyone else does too
Wowow the crossover to end all crossovers! Such a cool collab ✨
Super happy to be apart of this hehe :)
2:22 I think it also comes to the fact that some artists plan to send one artwork at that time, and another at another time, which is what makes it much more realistic. They plan.
THIS TURNED OUT SO COOL I'm so glad I could be a part of it :DD
It's cool seeing such variety in tips for all levels of art!
I have never seem tips bee more useful
I think the best part of this video, besides the really awesome tips, is that all these artists are so motivated and positive when giving good pieces of advice. That's what other artists who are still growing need when looking for good advice. Thank you so much for this
hellooo
here are My personal tips to the artists reading this comment
*1. Watermarking*
Watermarks are when u write your account/channel/name/social media username onto a drawing.
*2. LineArt*
Line art is the outline of your drawings(if it wasnt obvious-). now this could vary from person to person and different people have it different according to their artstyle.
*3. Simple Color Theory*
Most artists are familiar with color theory but few actually understand it so here's a simple guide. *_"Blood Pop" starts playing_*
Here are the opposites of Colors for contrasting/pop of color: Red is opposite of Blue, Pink is opposite of green, Orange is opposite of Cyan, Black is opposite of White, Yellow is opposite of Purple, etc. also dark colors can contrast well with bright/light colors.
*4. Brush For Shading*
Maybe instead of using airbrush for shading, try testing or trying out other types of brushes similar to the airbrush for shading. i personally use a little bit of opaque brushes with realism drawing and more blended or blurred out brushes for my normal art. If you use Airbrush tho, it is perfectly fine and its not wrong, your art will still look okay.
Thanks for Reading this if you did! I hope any of these helped with your art journey and my main art tip is.
Keep growing little Star
Very nice. I love tips 14 and 15. Thanks for sharing!
this is honestly amazing, it shows how connected and helpful we are as a community, and it can really show that there are still amazing people in this hellscape that we call the internet, thank you

Thankyou to everyone involved!! What an amazing video
I actually learned some really good tips!! THANK YOU!!!
Is it just me that just wanna cry while watching this after having too much stress with art?
this was a great watch!!! the tips about photobashing for backgrounds and conceptualizing foreshortening through the radius of a ellipse?!
So happy to see it all come together!!Thank you for having me !
I dunno why but this hurts my brain
These art tips are extremely handful
It helped me alot! I watched this till the end and so much artist took their time to make this cool collab and send nice messages to people watching e.g. Do not fully follow what people criticize about you or hate on you which is so heartwarming! I loved everyone who typed this type of messages to people and took their time to make this! ❤
30:53 you, my friend. Had just gained another loyal follower. I am truly, at a loss for words

AYOOO! This turned out so GOOD! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do a collab with so many cool artists! Seeing this made my freakin' day!
HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE ARTISTS IN THIS VIDEO
so many of them helped me but the backgrounds thing omg I never thought of using a ton of images and mushing them together. Helps so much as someone that can't imagine anything well ^ ^
One pretty cool tip I thought of while watching this video is to draw with emotion.
Doesn’t really matter wether it’s a positive or negative emotion, drawing with your feelings can make your art a lot more expressive. I personally really like to draw my rage, but anything’s good
this video is so goood !!! thank you to all the 100 artists !!! yippeee
To me is just crazy seeing all of these different artists That I've watched over these years All come together Just make a beautiful masterpiece Of these art tips Can't wait to apply these to my work!!
THIS IS SO USEFUL THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH 💖💖💖
Edit: I got jumpscared too many times by artists I know lmaoo, didn't expected it XD
I also discovered many new, which is very cool!
NEVER colorpick from other's art or color palettes you come across
That's a bit of an exaggeration btw.
What matters is that it is cohesive with the rest of the colors surrounding it
I created an oc a while back and to look at her whole color palette, her skin looked like a chocolate color but when I actually color her skin, I used a darker desaturated purple because the rest of the colors made it make sense to the eyes.
That's the best way I've learned color theory to this day, and I've grown so much since then! Hope this tip helps with progressing with your art!
Screenshotted putting this in my back pocket for when I learn colour eventually thank you lmao ❤
@@VeetiM Glad to help!
