There is nothing like the Neck pickup on a strat for mind-blowing Clean tone's. It hypnotizes me - (in the same-way) as a great acoustic guitar. Makes you wanna play all day.
Just picked up Duellist today… expensive but super high quality build & tones. Has a very wide range of tonal options. Side A is like an optimized Tubescreamer (but much more pleasant & useable than a TS, with a bit more low end). Side B is bluesbreaker tone and also very nice. Both sides are very responsive so you feel a great connection to g the tone while playing. It’s like the pedal has a near magical tonal resonance (not sure you could get a bad sound from it). A/B’d the Duellist against TS808, TS9, TS7, TS10, TS mini, Gearman’s Luther Drive (TS 808 & TS10 Clone). Duellist was best overall with a huge adjustment range on all settings. Gearman Luther & TS10 sounds very similar to Drive A side of Duellist (but Duellist has more adjustment range - excellent). Just another note… Vertex String Singer mk2 sounds very similar (but Vertex only has half the drive range of Duellist side b)
Would have like to have heard you toggle back and forth between both drives at same settings to hear differences. Also, please include more rhythm playing in the demos. Thanks.
Hi Adam, thanks for your suggestions. My focus is on making it sound the best I can. I believe having the same settings on two different ovedrives will not make it sound good. - Sasha
Wow amazing demo and your playing is so tasteful, your Strat looks like mine. Is it a custom shop? I’ve been wanting to get a duellist and now I’m convinced
I love both sides of this pedal. But the right side on the fat setting with the gain cranked and the tone rolled all the way of has got to be one of the most beautiful tones that has ever been created by my strats. This damn pedal gets me a bit watery eyed and has the ability to get me lost in just playing guitar. I truly love it.
can i use it with a super clean vibrolux to get a breakup like tone? i have a vintage ts 808 but I have to cranck the amp on the verge of breakup to enjoy it
@@Matan2222222 It's a long time since you asked this question but hopefully an answer is still useful to you; I have a Vibrolux and tend to also set it around 4. Personally I prefer to use a King Tone Blues Power to mimic the sound of the amp breaking up. I basically treat it as amp distortion and run other stuff in front of it to boost it the same way people do with amps, including the Duellist for example.
@@maxguitarstore Oh, beautiful. I love blue, but i'm very particular about blue guitars. Yours is one of the few that really works for me. Is it an MJT body?
SOUNDS THE SAME ON 12VOLTS. THIS HAS A 9 VOLT BATTERY. RUNNING 12 VOLTS WILL EVENTALLY BURN IT IT UP. YOU FORGOT ABOUT THE SWTCHS INSIDE FOR DISTORTION AND CLIPPING, SUSTAIN.
That clean tone was astonishing, then I heard that pedal. Simply WOW!!!
Two Rock amps are soooo good!
I think almost any pedal sound good over THAT clean tone! Awesome! Anyway what a great pedal!

Hi there, great video and playing. Which pickups are you using on your guitar? Thanks!
Sounds GREAT!!
Isn't the middle strat pickup an underrated piece of sound?
Great playing man. Question: Are we hearing camera mic or the room mic?
How's this compare to the Crossfire pedal?
Wow amazing demo and your playing is so tasteful, your Strat looks like mine. Is it a custom shop? I’ve been wanting to get a duellist and now I’m convinced
A really similar pedal to this is JAM Double dreamer
Is there a chance that you could a comparison?

How high do you set the volume of the amp? - Sasha

@@cowieson very useful! Thank you for your time!
I think you sold me on the pedal, but tell me about that guitar! Custom Shop? What is that color called?
Glad to hear that! That guitar is my own Strat. Comprised of many different parts, so basically a partscaster 😄 The colour is aged Lake Placid Blue.

I can't get pretty close to those headroom tones by tweaking some knobs on my V1.0.4
What amp and model Fender are you using? Sounds great! Good playing.
Thanks! I'm using a Two Rock Studio Signature and my own 60's Strat - Sasha
@@maxguitarstore that Two Rock sounds killer. I have the Studio Pro 35 head and love it.

Esse é o DuelList V1.2 ????? Esse é original king tone

Do you sell these pedals ? Want one !! SRV in a pedal :-)
Yep, we do! SRV and much more! :) - Sasha
Nice guitar playing. But guess vid is on the product demo. So, minimal notes with full range tweaking of all its knob is desirable
Just buy the God damn pedal.
@@therangersinger Yes, but maybe after a convincing PRODUCT demo
