You probably won’t find this because it’s been 5 years but this was great for someone who’s starting to play Shirai Ryu. I usually play lasher but I’m trying to switch over. Also I loved how he’s beating up Kenshi in his Shirai Ryu outfit on the map he fights him in story mode! Really great touch.

I had a little combo I put together but it was quite impractical as it used 2 meter burns.
4,4, BF2 MB, BF1 MB, Throw - 38%
The only decent thing about this combo is that the inputs are easy and you can use the throw to execute one of his Brutalities.
Thanks for these combos. I didn't think it would be possible to do 40%+ with a single meter burn. I never really liked the movement in MK, so I tried a character that had range like Scorpions F+3. But I chose Takeda thanks to his serrated whips.

I'm not going to lie I think Takeda is the best and It Takes awhile.
here my own tips for beginner never play online to early because you should first get use to the game. I use to suck but. I kept practicing even when I got better. Also if you can't remember your combos write them down until you remember perfectly and last tip no one the best at this game all game take practice and hope you get better with takeda

Besides turning off release check, go to training mode and check your button inputs if your rushing the button presses too much that you press other buttons (happens a lot with directionals). The key is to input them fast but also clearly.

Adam Mulvihill You can do them. I'm pretty new to the game, but I got consistant with these in about 30-40 minutes.
The trick is knowing when to input the commands immediatey after each other, and when to pause for a moment, like when you're waiting for your opponent to drop.
Could you do a takeda lasher combo vid?
Just started playing MKX (Always preferred Tekken), but how do you cancel the second whip strike in Hellspawn? Every time I've tried it makes me commit to the second strike animation
the sad part is wity either the latest patch or the one before it the back 1 2 for the whip slams no longer make people bounce of lf the group if they are already airborne
some of these i cant seem to do . where they patched or am i bad? seems to not let me Speak Ryu after some of them

I can't seem to combo DB3 after B+2,1 in the big 42% combo. I can combo them by themselves but when I try it in the whole thing it doesn't work :(
Hello, i have some trouble with the 3rd combo every time that i do 3 3 bf 1 even tho i can see my inputs are good it always takes it for some reason for 3 3 bf 3 and i do the tornado kick and completely fail. Any tips? Is it my timing?
I thing use BF+2 MB in wall is a good option to make a combo, you don't make any combo with that?
Any tips on stringing the combos? Its hard going from the whip snap to the quick phase.
Turn of Release Check in your settings if necessary and try to input Quick Phase the second after you're done with the previous input.
To string them you have to press the 2nd combo as the same time you press the last button of the first move

x, x, y, quick phase with meter burn, x, x, y then whip snap with meter burn then forward+b
I can't use Quick Phase after Whip Snap. Please help.
Just to put it out there all the combos he used the move turn around if your not going to use the whole combo which is Xbox:AAB PS4:XXO use Forgotten son which dose i think 1 or 2 more points of damage

Make sure that you start quick phase as soon as you let go of the last button got whip snap. Hope this helps.
I always press to fast so it wont register or something like that.. Messing my combo up

It's all about timing, just keep practicing the kombo and eventually the kombos will fit, 2 hours of training should do the trick.

+SkullieTheBully I made the weirdest discovery.. I play on steam (PC) so I was like: I have an XBox controller, but I'll try Keyboard for shits n giggles. Guess what, once you get used to it, you cannot make input errors really. a keyboard will never interprate your back-forward as a back-up or something. This happens a LOT when I use the stick on the Controller (never trying that again :D) and even on the regular good old cross. Because the XBox cross is STILL (unlike the PS controllers) a kinda joystick, allowing in-betweens between 90° and 45°, there is 22,5° as well. Which is shit cause it makes input errors more likely. With the keyboard, as clumsy as it feels at first, there is no such thing. MKX has VERY little buttons to press and no in-betweens. You can only actually press W instead of A, which should be enar impossible :D so i play with a Keybaord atm which is weird as fuck, but my combos are on point and SO much better than I (personally) could ever do them on a controller (granted I don't have a PS4 controller which is the most used anyway).
Should you play on the PC by any chance, try the keyboard for one hour.. it's pretty cool XD
Im having trouble with all of the combos. I have release check off, I'm putting in all the buttons correctly but it just wont work. I put in say the strong flow combo and then the buttons for spear ryu but only the strong flow combo will register. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?
