It’s interesting to see how this will play itself out over generations. I have Vargottama Moon which is also my Atmakaraka in 5th house of Purva Punya and children. It’s intriquing to see that my daughter has Vargottama 9th lord denoting father - Yogakaraka Mars in 9th house. It’s forming beautiful trine with her Venus, it’s less than half degree away from her Venus in Leo, also Jupiter is in Sagittarius blessing both Mars and Venus. Anyway, I could be digressing a bit here, but I think it’s really interesting to see how my own Vargottama Moon in 5th will play itself out over when it comes to my children.🩵
I've Vargottama Ascendent Scorpio and Mercury (6th house) in D-1. D-9, & D-10 as well as Vargottoma Mars (5th house) D-1 & D-9. Yes, I'd say I'm fairly confident & I knew from an early age exactly what I wanted to do. Never been a lost lamb. Mars Mahadasha between 30 and 37 years were rather turbulent years--especially relationship wise.. Thank you for this.
Thanks a lot Anahita ! My 7th lord mars is vargottam in Taurus and it has given me so much problems with my birth family and my married life both. It brought financial stability after marriage though but relationship with family got destroyed forever especially after my marriage. 😢
That is similar to mine.My mars is in taurus vargottam also had bad memories on family which got worse after break up with previus partner. It is not easy.

I am a Scorpio asc with vargottama Sun in Aries. To be honest my career sucks even with my current Sun mahadasha! My chart doesn’t really support a career with empty 10th house and Saturn in 3rd but I don’t want to be a business owner I just don’t care anymore at this point!

If a planet occupies the same _house_ instead of the sign then can this logic apply ? I have seen references to bhava- vargottama vs. rashi- vargottama, the latter being discribed here. But have not seen much interpretation for bhava- vargottama if at all it is a concept

My Jupiter is in Aries in every single varga chart, it’s interesting. It’s also my lowest degree planet.
Vargottama is just powerful. So if planet is afflicted..... it's going to be bad and powerful, imagine that!

Half of my chart has vargottama planets. The Sun, Moon, Saturn, and Mars. My divisional charts after D3 have very little change from D1.
