Bro, you’re in flour bluff and that’s where the Oso river / creek meets Oso Bay so you got freshwater hitting saltwater right there at that spillway and that’s what creates that foam especially when cold fronts come in but back behind there there’s a TPW red fish breeding ponds, and speckled trout breeding ponds That place is also known as Yorktown mud Bridge a lot of memories back there😂
Yo Brandon, is this the Barney M Davis Sub Station/Mud Bridge Spillway?? Great Video..! Yo Keven always good to see you doing Colabs with Brandon...! You both keep up the Great work.. Still waiting on that Meet and Great to take my Kid to meet you Guys...!
@ Got a recycling center near me in the woodlands and it pumps out treated water into the creek and creates similar foam, when you walk up to the creek all you smell is chlorine and whatever else they out in there but it’s supposed to be “OK” water after all the treatment chemicals added to the water
Man I was talking to my buddy’s about you lol did you have a peddle drive or a motor on it? I kinda felt bad because of the wind in your face going back to land 😂 I did see you catch that monster! Congrats bro!🔥👍🏽
Bro! Was my first time going back there and I didn’t want to get muddy so I took the yak. Thank God I was able to cut the trip back significantly by paddling to the opposite side of the water. Was dry enough to take my truck back there and scoop the yak. Other guys on my side had some bad luck. One guy snapped his new rod and the other lost his keys wading back.
Why don't you and your YT fishing buddies buy a (jon) boat together or join a boating club?? Also you guys clearly don't know.....per TPWD: During a license year, one spotted seatrout over 28” may be retained when affixed with a properly completed Spotted Seatrout Tag and one spotted seatrout over 28” may be retained when affixed with a properly completed Bonus Spotted Seatrout Tag. Any fish retained under authority of a Spotted Seatrout Tag or a Bonus Spotted Seatrout Tag may be retained IN ADDITION to the daily bag and possession limit as stated in your TPWD manual/app.
@@brandonmolina711 Good to know. I have no problem using my license's trout tag. Rather than going to waste. Even if I don't eat it, I always know someone who appreciates fresh fish. Great vid also.🎣🤙🏽
Much much much respect throwing fish back my man wish we all did
@@jimmycordova5560 mostly all the trouts I caught were over 20” so I’d just throw them back 16-18 are good

whats the name of that spillway? that not the Trinity Bay Spillway.
It’s in Corpus. I’m not sure the name of it
Nice video. When did you record this.
This past Tuesday
Get you a decent surf rod and walk the wooden fence “carefully “ and cast directly into the spillway. MONSTERS !!!
Any idea exactly why that foam is created and what type of factories are those? Not going to steal the spot, just curious.
I think it’s from fresh and saltwater mixing but, idk 🤷🏽♂️

@@How2.0-vr6jh I only keep my 3 trout all of them were under 20” I would never keep a 27”-30” trout. I know the regulations
