If you renegotiate Daks contract, there is no way you should give him as much as what the Bengals gave Joe Burrow. Burrow has proven to be the Chies slayer and has been to the SB. Dak looked like a deer caught in headlights during their playoff loss again this year. Roll the dice and see what happens and see what you get with Trey Lance.

Dak is a leader everywhere but in the field of play, his performance in big games, including the playoffs, have eroded the natural leadership that comes with being the QB, we have seen it with his top receiver, who has shown frustration with him openly more than once. Let the contract play out and decide after next season. I only saw 4 game leaders last season, 3 on offense, Tyler Smith, CD lamb and TE Ferguson. One on defense, DLaw.

Hello everyone. I've been a Cowboys fan since I was 11 yrs. old. I've been with the Boys in good and bad. As fans we tend to get excited and emotional. We the fans must accept that we have no decision-making power; therefore, all we can do is dream of the things we could do if we had the power to make decisions. Having said this, allow me to dream. Lets begin with Dac. He is not a top 10 QB; however, he does work hard at his trade and lead by example. One thing I am most proud of Dax is his ability to not make any comments that hinder the team or give bulletin material to opposing teams. I do feel that Dax is over-paid and feel that the league needs to have a ceiling on every position in the field and especially QB salaries (they eat up too much of the Cap). Please remember that football is a team sport; therefore, the team needs to play well. Parsons is a very talented player; however, he mostly becomes self-centered and talks too much. Additionally, he provides opposite teams with bulletin board material and motivation to beat the boys. In general, one of the many things (tackling, game preparation, cohesiveness, communication and playing their best game every game) they need to learn to keep their comments to a minimum while not providing other teams with motivation/bulletin board material. Tyron Smith was a great player in his time; however, he is injury-prone and tends to miss more games that he plays. It's time to let Tyron walk. Cowboys need to be more disciplined. To those Cowboys that like to talk more than they should; remember that "Actions Speak Louder Than Words." Go Cowboys.

You extend him 3 years and he’s 34 and up for another extension then you need to have the tough decision to extend him a third time or ride w Trey. It makes all the sense in the world to ride out this season and go from there bc if he leaves and Trey comes in and is good now you have a young qb on a team friendly deal OR if he sucks you may get a top 5 pick to take a qb who in that year could be arch manning. The money's been paid. His average per year was 40 million. So 50 would be a 10 million per year raise and along the lines of a guy that has done more than him on paper in the post season.
