Six flags over Georgia needs a launch ride so bad!!!!! This ride could fit perfectly in the old splash water fall ride and plus it’s affordable for the park.
We rode tigris in the backseat. It was our 6th or so coaster of the day and was the coaster that kickstarted our headaches. For that reason we hated it. It felt like it shaked you around for no reason and the 'comfort' straps gave no support. We nicknamed it the brain rattler. Keep in mind we LOVED Iron Gwasi and Montu
The SRII has been around for quite a while now and there are a lot of similar coasters out there now that are better, so it would be cool to see Premier come up with a new layout but in a similar vertical style to an SRII. I guess Ice Breaker is sort of like that?
i've only rode one of them, and it was tempesto. loved it front and back, but that comfort collar on it was horrid. it was such a pain to get in and out of the train, and of course low capacity stinks. i've heard the comfort collars on tigris are not bad at all, but i wont be able to ride it till 2022 when i make my big south-east coaster trip.
Lmao we have one at our local park Lake Compounce and I go there after work and ride it about 6-8 times in a row before I leave for home. I love it. The backwards launch is great. The back seat is 100% the best. When you come over the top after the roll you get some serious ejector air time. Great fun for a copy paste coaster.
I honestly don't get the hate. Rode Tempesto and I absolutely loved it. I honestly preferred it to both Apollo's Chariot and Alpengeist. The comfort collars didn't bother me at all.
I haven’t ridden a skyrocket 2 yet, I will be riding tempesto in June, but I have ridden sky rocket at kennywood which is a similar type of ride, and it’s one of the most underrated coasters I’ve ridden, the airtime and the inversions were insane, so if the skyrocket 2’s are anything like that I think they should get more love
Tbh it’s unfair to say there’s too many of these because park owners don’t expect people to visit multiple theme parks in one year, but anyways Skyscream at Holiday Park deserves credit for being the original Sky Rocket 2
my main grip is the collar. it's so stiff. outside that i did enjoy a mini marathon of it in the morning when it was dead quite. come afternoon thou it was looking lie 1 hour + to get a ride.
1. They're short. 2. One train. 3. Launches aren't even fast, they're not even launches. It's just gradually gaining speed, and if there IS some increase in acceleration, it's not noticeable at all. 4. The most UNCOMFORTABLE seating I've ever felt on anything. I come off the ride with my thighs just dead, not even Steel Vengeance made them hurt as bad as these do. Even getting INTO and OFF the seat is such a hassle, having to bring that unnecessary harness up and down. 5. The slow inversion at the top is super boring. 6. The transitions are SUPER jerky, especially in the back. Front row is the only enjoyable experience for me. Probably the only thing I liked about my experience was getting a new credit. They're just not good at all in my opinion.
I've ridden Tempesto and Phobia Phear. Loved them both.
Believe it or not, the single 3 car train model achieves a greater throughput than double 2 car train model, according to Premier's website.
Most likely due to the double lap and the time that it takes for the transfer track to move.
I did electric eel at Seaworld San Diego and loved it. Went on it 19 times.

Today I rode my first sky rocket 2, Phobia at Lake Compounce 4 times, 3 two towards the front and once in the back, it is much more fun in the back
Just did it myself last weekend. Great restraints, never a line, super nice ride ops and a smooth ride. A+

I've rode both superman and electric eel the comfort collar doubt really make that big of a difference if your a good distance away from it.
