In this special episode of Ask the Vet, we asked Dr. Nerida Richards, PhD, Equine Nutrition Specialist and founder of FeedXL.com, to answer your nutrition-based horse health questions. In this video, Dr. Gray sits down with Dr. Richards to discuss why amino acids are so important to a horse's diet, as well as some things you'll start to see in horses who have an amino acid deficiency. They even play around with children's building blocks - don't worry, it'll make total sense when you see why!
