If you're new here, hi! My name is Clara, I’m 24, & I just moved to Charleston from Raleigh and I work in marketing! I started filming my productive work vlogs on TikTok and now I’ve branched out to post longer content & postgrad vlogs on RUclips. Follow along for daily motivation, daily vlogs, morning routines, and more productive days in my life!

My 32 yo son still has his teddy bear from his first Angel Tree from when he was 3 months old. So as a past Angel Tree participant, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You don't realize how much this program helped me when I needed it most and couldn't afford ANYTHING. And for you to go above and beyond, with not only the little hygiene kits that I'm positive will mean the world to those kids, but by the amount of Angels you chose! I think it’s different in each state/ each Salvation Army. My state/ Salvation Army group the toys are donated and then place out then parent goes and picks the gifts for their child(ren) to then take home and wrap themselves. But, nonetheless kids are getting Christmas gifts and that’s all that matters! I’m glad your son benefitted from this charity!
Clara you are such a sweet, generous person. I have watched a lot of influencers but you are the only one who does this for charity. And it’s not just giving money or gifts randomly, you really put thought in each of these presents. These kids are lucky to have you ❤ God bless you!

I remember when you did this last year and that was when I was really committed to following you. I remember last year when you got a kid a tablet and that was so special because I was on programs like this growing up and we normally didn't get big gifts like that. I've thought about you doing this on and off throughout the entire year and it's made me want to do more for my community as well. So thank you for this ❤

So I used to volunteer with the Salvation Army and helped on the other side of things. The child you chose does get what you pick out. The only time they don’t is if you get them multiple gifts and there is another child that doesn’t have any, or if they have siblings then they try and make sure they have equal amounts of stuff.
Something you could also do in the future is call the Salvation Army and ask if you can adopt a family. They will usually give you a family that truly doesn’t have much, and they will get everything you buy for them.
I think it's so amazing that you do the angel tree each year! I want to do it this year as well and you have also inspired me with all of the cooking recipes that you share in your vlogs :) so happy you're doing vlogmas!!

Soo thoughtful. While shopping please keep holiday gifts in trunk of your vehicle instead of inside the car to prevent break ins and theft. We had to learn this the hard way several years ago.

hey clara! my mom is a teacher and i asked what educational gifts could be good for a 4-year-old and she said either "hook on phonics" or "leap frog"! a lot of kids these days are struggling with fluency and phonetics in school and i think that would be great idea for you. :) i used it as a good kid and it definitely helped me especially since i have learning disabilities, and struggled a lot with reading. you can buy that stuff second hand online and the mom can buy different workbook and lessons based on their grade level when the child starts school as well. hope this helps!
If people want to give back and can’t do the angel program it’s a great time of year to give directly to a local non profit in your community. If there is a United way you can give to them and they disburse locally or search for the local website for a non profit you like. That has more impact than giving to a national organization.❤

I supported an Angel Tree near me as well. I get to hand in my bags soon. I like your tip about planning ahead. I shop year round for discounted toys and other fun items. I either match them to a tag or set up a bag and bring that to the Salvation Army. They have more tags there. At least that's what happens in my area.
FYI: you don’t put the items into a big bag so the parents can wrap them. They would never. It’s so the organization can modify the gifts.
