Hoy, very very clever. Bet alot of things could be strapped to that. Let the hooks for the ladders be optional? Surfboard rack could be another option. How about all those canoes and kayaks out there? Simple mounting brackets for other things? How do you make something better? Hand it to someone else. Thank you.

Is there a way to fasten the ladder to the rack so that it doesn't fly off the vehicle if you hit a speed bump? Similarly, what about locks if you want to leave the racks unattended or overnight? Thank you.

The ErgoRack has a self locking mechanism called an auto clamp which holds the ladder securely in place while traveling down the road. This also reduces vibration which enhances the life of the ladder. Additionally, there is a latch attached to the driveshaft that can be locked with a padlock to prevent theft.
