I’ve seen a bunch of comments with people who can relate with this and I am so sorry for all of you for going through all that. My mother died when I was three years old and my stepmom can honestly be pretty horrible to me sometimes. I had to move and leave my whole life behind because she didn’t like to live where we lived before. My dad and mom also don’t like talking about mental health and tell me that crying isn’t normal and sometimes even lie to doctors about how well I sleep and how often I cry so I feel like I can’t really get help. Sorry for the long story/rant. What I’m trying to say is parents will not always be what you need and that’s okay because there is always, ALWAYS someone. Be it siblings, friends, grandparents or someone else. Hope you all have a great life and that you all find happiness😊

*honestly, I've always heard the same "you're fat" all my life because it always comes from my own narcissistic mother, I grew up hearing that to the point of believing it and developing the two extreme EDs (Ana and morbid obesity), I grew up to be insecure and self-conscious and it really has just been recently that I'm starting to accept me with my weight, although I don't exactly love my body, I have grown to be more comfortable to like it and to keep changing my habits so I can drop more weight, it has not been easy but it is something that I'm still working on*
