Entire team in coms "Ok lets contest, says 4" Rekkles just runs to farm a wave without saying anything then they lose the game and he pretends the teams teamwork is bad and its not just him who refuse to stop play for kda. Id die to win a teamfight by flashing in and killing 2 as adc.

Refused to resign his contract multiple times in the offseason - Fnatic failed to get Perkz, Rekkles leaves after his contract runs out. 2023 - Fnatic get Rekkles to pay 50% of his buyout from KCorp and as a compromise write in his deal that he wouldn’t be benched. Fnatic then try to break said deal by going behind his back to bring Upset back without saying anything despite the fact that they had it in writing that they wouldn’t. the problem was not Syndra/Cass/Ziggs being playable, because mages on bot are still playable. The problem was crit items being removed. If i remember correctly, infinity edge was 2 B.F Swords and each adc item was like that. U gain access to crit only when u complete a whole item.

I'm really not a Rekkles fan, but I've always felt like pro players are at a disadvantage when it comes to being switched out during off seasons, an org can make a signing last minute and leave a player without a team for a split or longer - more power to the players for me

They just assumed he was even though Rumours of him going to G2 had already started and Rekkles had actively told Fnatic he wasn’t resigning until he knew who the new midlaner was and wasn’t gonna sign anything before his contract was up… I’m confused why people think that is deceit… if you have a guy saying “no I don’t want resign” it’s pretty obvious what he is thinking.

When someone has what you feel is an undeserved reputation it inspires people to criticise.
If people didn't regard rekkles as a top adc and perceived him honestly, then he wouldn't get barely any criticism.

Mechanically he is by far the best ADC in EU history, he had the bad luck of being in worse teams than Fnatic and G2, but he was individually superior to Rekkles (It also has to be said that it is his fault that BIG teams They would not want to know anything about it because of its toxicity)
Rekkles was lucky to have people like Peke, sOAZ, Febi, Huni, RO, YS, Caps, Broxah, Hyli boosting him.

the problem was not Syndra/Cass/Ziggs being playable, because mages on bot are still playable. The problem was crit items being removed. If i remember correctly, infinity edge was 2 B.F Swords and each adc item was like that. U gain access to crit only when u complete a whole item.

The players are still employed during that time tho and get paid. Look Upset, when Rekkles came back Upset was benched but still employed by FNC until he signed for Vitality

I can't remember exactly who it was but there was a western player who really suffered due to this, they were getting paid next to nothing and their contracted buyout clause was too much for any other team to pay.
