Tinnitus Soother 2 Noise 5700 Hz Focused Noise Masking

  • Many listeners have requested 10 hour version of the original Tinnitus Smoother, which had a 4 hour listen time. So here it is. Thank you listeners for your suggestion. The audio is revised just slightly higher at 5700 Hz compared to the original at 5500 Hz.. The ten hour length is ideal for listeners who want an overnight listen. There is no voiceover introduction, just the 5.7 kHz noise start to finish.
    Noise masking listening is known, in some cases, to relieve tinnitus to some degree (not completely). The volume of this sound should be set below the sound level of the tinnitus in the listener's mind. This minds, often will tune into this newly introduced sound and become less focused on the tinnitus sound.
    Noise masking is only part of the tinnitus well being treatment, which also includes, health and wellness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). These facets are best approached under the care of medical professionals such as an audiologist or ENT doctor.
    My professional specialty is audio production and sound creation. A four decade career in sound has created tinnitus for me, like many in this and other loud industrial professions. This started a journey into making sounds that may help relieve tinnitus for some listeners. The unique variety of tinnitus types and causes makes noise masking hit or miss. Try is and see.
    The screen dims at 60 minutes for a dark overnight listen.
    Thanks for listening, Dale

    ……and now, I just want to share a great experience last night. I listened to this new (for me) 5700 Hz sound approximately an hour and noted both before going to sleep and, on waking 7 hours later, my tinnitus was barely audible! OMGoodness…it has been so long. Am getting ready to listen another hour or so this evening and look forward to hopefully ongoing sounds of silences. This is very cool!

    Oh I’m excited…..I’ve been doing much better with the 5500 and surprising to me, White Noise. And I suppose because the ear noises are never ending, yet do vary in severity, I change around a bit. Sitting here now with this new 5700 masking frequency I was wondering ‘is it my ear or the sound’….which is great as,neither is offending - and Yes, it’s the sound 😊. Thank-you so much Dalesnale! Your insights are amazingly awesome……your empathic-efforts truly appreciated!. Really enjoying this ‘ambience’ ~

Trouble is trying to find the right/best frequency.. i always notice it mostly when i am so tired- I listen to a few and just never am sure (probably bc i am so tired) .. do you have an instructional or sample video that would help identify?? Like the eye dr… like 20 seconds of a “scale” where you would play each one ascending with each frequency so I could once & for all find the one i need? Thx 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

      My guess is they have spent their time on the medical side of things to get a PhD and practice going. I spent the 90s until now as a career audio engineer in live sound, music producing and audio for film/video and sound design. These are two separate disciplines tied together by tinnitus and wellness. I have made some audio for Dr Ben's channel as well. Medical specialists and researchers supply a springboard of guidance , a direction to follow and inspiration to make these sounds for the tinnitus community.

      Weder noch das ist ja Nerventötend,,! Suchen Sie sich lieber einen GUTEN CHIROTHERAPEUREN der Ihren 3.Halswirbel in Ordnung bringt, er ist verschoben und die Ursache für Tinnitus.

    Bonjour, comment peux on calculer la fréquence de nos acouphènes??? Merci

    • @dalesnale
      @dalesnale  3 месяца назад

      La meilleure façon est de faire appel à un audiologiste. Certains écoutent les différentes fréquences de bruit jusqu'à ce que l'on se sente soulagé. Voici un exemple de la plupart des fréquences jusqu'en juin 2023: ruclips.net/video/IaZk8NbzxXU/видео.html
