Coming back for his third show, Roger unleashes layered tribal beatz over four CDJ-2000s piped through a DJM-900 nexus for fifty minutes, hosing the mix down with his trademark acapellas and loops. It's a heavy one.
Roger also reveals his architectural plans and programming the many shades of House he likes to spin in those marathon sets. Essential advice.

Still coming back to this. What Roger did between 9:20 and 12:00 is still the greatest display of dj skills I've ever seen.
Same here! Everybody makes a big deal about James Hype these days. Roger Sanchez has been doing mixing like that, if not better, when JH was in high school with pimples!

Appreciate that the music may not be to people's taste (personally love it) but his skills on 4 cdj's is immense.

On most high end mixers you can decide for each channel which side of the crossfader you would like to have it or that it doesn't respond to both sides like you see here. If you look carefully you will see under the volume faders that there is a switch what says A/Thru/B this will decide how the x fader works on the channel.

The maestro, the best of his kind. :) not saying much, but unlike some "commercial" djs out there, Roger represent his sound in the flesh ;) commenting about Sync feature, i think to say positively we should take it as a convenient thing to use. My opinion is, it will really allow you to be more in control of your live mix and taking full advantage on all fx and such features. :)
Same here. That vocal was in a house compilation I once had in the late 80s. So it's been around but I've struggled to locate it.
