    So do you think that this single thin post will support the load of that giant cantilever part?

      Certainly. I’ve seen lots of talented structural engineers pull off crazier things. Both side walls of the cantilever are solid, an adequate structural system could easily be hidden inside them. The cantilever is also attaching to a massive solid wall.
