I see a few people complaining about this brilliant reader. yeah really ?? just goes you show . No i refuse to say anything negative Let me just say i wholeheartedly disagree with them I think she is brilliant.
it’s easier to read in small portions. it’s hard to read because she writes like a stream of consciousness which is often chaotic and hard to follow but it helps to listen to sections slowly and think about them. if i ever forget where i left off i just listen to entire sections over again.
i thought the narration was excellent. she didn’t overwhelm the reader with overacting but at the same time put emphasis on words that were impactful. to each their own i suppose.
Minute 1:50 - 'rooks core-ing' - ugh! The intrusive 'r'! It's 'rooks cawing'. CAWING. CAWING!! This recording may be free, but with at reading level, it is too much.
I had to read this book for english class and this audio made it so much more enjoyable and easier to follow, thanks!
What a beautiful voice and accent, I enjoy listening to this wonderful book.
This is the first book I have finished in about 3 years, and this video is completely to thank! Thank you

I swear I never know what this woman's saying. For some reason, I'd hoped this book would be easier to read than Mrs. Dalloway...I think I was wrong.

All I see in my mind is two eighteen-year-olds running through Bergdorf's in their underwear.
The slow gentle narration and emphasis of each word was very annoying! As if the words had question marks next to them! Couldn't listen to it!

This literally made the descriptions more artistic and also more understandable
