One day, 12 years ago, I was 9 years old walking around with a Gryffindor robe on, a wand in hand, and a Hedwig plushie in my hand. I was a kid with a hyperfixation on Harry Potter. I remember I was walking around Seuss Landing. A Universal Studios team member walked up to me and my father, and told me that they were looking for a big Harry Potter fan. She then gave me tickets to this event, and I remember waiting in the Circus McGurkus restaurant for maybe a couple of hours or so (or it felt like it). I also remember getting to the red carpet and seeing Evanna Lynch and touching her hand. I don't think she noticed, she was signing autographs. I still thank that team member today, and Universal Studios for their kind generosity.
I do hope she at least got to meet Alan Rickman. He loved kids and would’ve got a kick out of this young correspondent. Also not only are James and Oliver adorable with her but so is Warwick!
