I agree with this 1000% with the society we live in today it is normal for kids to be infested in skincare and makeup and this isn’t something we can blame them for. It has just become a social norm. This is amazing because they are creating products that are safe for young skin. This mom is allowing her daughter to use lip oil sunscreen and moistures not retinol and things that will harm her child’s skin. It is important to teach kids what they can and cannot use

YES! Finally a parent who actually treats their kid right with skin care.
Imagine a kitchen, full of Hazards for the toddler. Let’s say that is the regular skin care, for adults and that.
Now imagine a play kitchen. It has not as many hazards, because it is for toddlers.
Now let’s say that is our kid friendly skin care.
The kid is curious about cooking, so the parents either let the kid into the hazardous kitchen, or they can spend that bit more on a safer, play kitchen.
So those ranting about the price, and the fact that it’s bad for the kid, here you go.

Kids being interested in skincare is fine, but a toddler is not a kid, she should not even know what skincare or makeup is let alone using it even if it’s for “all ages” they should only be using it if they have skin issues like eczema. Any product has a consequence, a toddler don't need these products at all, even more if you don't control their access to it !
Over mosturising can lead to fungal infection, the perfume in most products is harmful for young skin and if over used it can burn them, toddlers are also putting everything in their mouth and these are not made to be use by the kid but by the parent on the kid 😬
If she was 10, 12, or even 8 i could understand bc they can control and understand what they're doing to their skin and it's okay to be interested in makeup and skin care, but really a toddler just want to do like you, pretend toys are better for developping fine motricity without risks.
Tldr : you have been baited by marketing and gave your kid adult products that is bad for her because she's too young...

Another toddler might not NEED a play kitchen, but the parents get it anyway, because the kid is curious and wants it.
