30年前にRUclipsがあれば良かった。昔は一流選手のコツがこんなに手軽に細かくわかることはなかった。
「自分が30年あとに生まれとったら…」って素で思います( •̀ω•́ U)
昔も小谷先生とかの写真付きの本はあったけど、実際に動きが見られると理解度がまったく違う。45年ほど早く生まれすぎたかな。ま、どっちにしろこのレベルには到底なれなかっただろうけど。
I migrated from the Judo world to Aikido 27 years ago. I always knew these two arts could work so well together! Back in my Judo days Aikido improved my Judo performance tremendously and vice versa. This ist just so beautiful to watch, please do more of this. I immediately felt motivated to do some Judo again or integrate it in my next Aikido practice.
The two arts work together because the concepts are the same. Their roots are the same. However, imo, modern Aikido has gone into fantasyland.
@@Stevesie_09 That may be. But for me that only means, it is our/your/my responsibility to keep it down to earth. Or bring it there again, wherever the individual starting point may be. I just like Aikido too much to watch it drift off.
same here i had the same experience as you, but stayed only with judo
@@MrBluemanworld This experience seems to be similar over many different arts though. I remember we had some Karateka and also later Ju-Jutsu and MMA people in class. Some stayed, some went back to their original sport, but almost everyone told of some instances where Aikido had an impact on his other sport, be it small or big. And in return everyone gave some insight which helped me develop in my own way :)

What a great video. The judo master is so graceful and gentle-looking - yet you know he'd drive you through the floor if he needed to! It's brilliant to see the mutual respect between the two, contrary to the ridicule Aikido often receives.

I know Suzuki. If Shirakawa sensei had practiced judo more, he would have been a top-class judoka. I like to see Shirakawa Ryuji sensei's humility, his many talents and efforts. I respect him from the bottom of my heart. And I also have a lot of respect for judo.
高校時代、大阪府ベスト8の人と乱取りした事があります。組んだら10秒で何度も投げられました。「路上でケンカしたら殺されるな・・・」と思いました。全日本・五輪の選手の強さなんて、想像も出来ません。
日本には柔道も合気道もある。これってものすごく幸せなことなんじゃないか！

Arigato Gozaimasu Suzuki Sensei and Shrakawa Sensei and students. This has encouraged me to get back into some senior judo practice. I studiedJudo at 13 and Aikido from 26 to now. I love the cross training here. In some Aikido seminars we have practiced Suzuki Sensei's unique leg-locking ko-uchi-gari. It is good to learn where it has come from. The sasea-tsurikomi-ashi was my best throw, and I did it on the 'wrong' side for a right hander. I like the upper body break as done in aikido too.

I think that it's great how you never use the techniques on the man teaching you the techniques. It shows great respect for the man. It would be very bad to accidently injure your teacher. Especially when they are one of the most knowledgeable, talented persons in existence. It's also amazing of him to share his knowledge so freely with everyone else. Of course learning the techniques isn't really hard. Practicing them until you can use them instinctively is what is the real challenge. It's amazing when you see it in a match or in a fight.

In karate we use that "crossing shins throw" (the ko-uchi-gari variation) in a couple of bunkai, didn't know there is a similar technique in Judo. 😮

I practice Jujitsu and we regularly train with a Shotokan Karate club sharing techniques, the Karate club has been exploring historic Karate and are realising that so much has been removed from their practice for sport reasons. Karate had so many Jujitsu style techniques for takedowns and hishigi
@@andrewrussell1678 yup, the original okinawan art was very similar to Jujutsu. It was mainly weapon work, but if you had no weapon or got too close, you would use grappling. Of coursez they had striking as well (just like Jujutsu) but it really wasn't the main focus (from what i can see)

柔道って技1つ1ついろんな工夫や応用が利くのがすごいですよね
今の合気道は型に特化して進化したものだけど、伝説の塩田剛三はもともと柔道も剣道も達人でそこから合気を極め、しかも当時は突きや蹴り技が中心の実践的なものだったらしいから、原点は恐ろしい武道だったのだろうって思わせられる。
全然武道とかしてこなかったのに、この動画は見始めたら目を離せません。
人間の体の構造を上手く利用した合理的な攻撃ばかりでとても勉強になります！
武道と無縁なのですが、興味津々になってしまいました。

Nice to see this. I have been using variations of this method of leg locking- "contact manipulation" for 50+ years now in Kenpo systems. Very effective. Done together with upper body and hand striking. Thank you for showing its use.

This is a very interesting and entertaining video. It's amazing and admirable that such a talented Aikido master is so willing to study other martial arts.
I've seen that first technique in small circle jujitsu by Walley Jay. What I don't like is that it turns ko-uchi-Gari from a sweep into a leverage bar technique. Whole different throw when trying to teach principles. Still good move. I use it myself.

ただ、難しいと思います。反復しないと実践できないと思います。現役の時に知ってたら絶対めっちゃ練習してましたね。

柔道と合気道、似て非なるものという認識です。
素人なりに思ったことは根本的な部分(理合？)の考え方は同じなんだなということでしょうか。
そして『合気道に足技は無い』にビックリしている自分がいます(笑)。そうか無いのか･･･白川先生の動画見ているとバグるなとしみじみしました。
受身で驚かれたり相変わらずの身体能力の高さに驚かれたりしている先生、ニッコニッコで楽しそうな先生にほっこりしながら、度々出る生足(太腿近くまで！)が私的ハイライト✨
珍しいわ細いわでも筋肉凄いわで頭と目が忙しかったです＆眼福でしたありがとうございます。
こんなに早くコツを掴めるなんて、流石に一道に秀でている人は違う。
達人の基本技のご指導は、わかりやすいです。そこからの達人ならではのテクニックは面白かったです。
あと、合気と違い引きつけの腕力で自分の型に持っていく白川先生の凄さがよくわかりました。
柔道で切磋琢磨された方々だからこそ、体重差を越えていくことの大変さや、そのための技術の大切さは、一番ご存じなのでしょう。こんな小柄な50kg代の先生に、ここまできれいに見事に投げられるなんて、予想もしていなかった！！といった、驚きと感動のリアクションでしたね😆😆
よく体育会系である、どちらが強いとかの張り合いをしたいわけではなくて、先生方の培って来られた技術を素直に称賛し、かつ謙虚に学び吸収し、淡々とこなしてしまう白川先生の姿勢により、情熱と誇りをもって柔道をされてきた先生方から、思わず自然な称賛があふれ出たのではないかなと思いました。
白川先生のずば抜けた身体能力の高さは、普通できないことを普通にやってのけてしまうから、バグり加減が半端ないんですよね。兵法ですなあ。調和に満ちた、美しいコラボ動画に感謝です！！
全くのど素人ですが、オリンピックを見るに、世界の柔道家はかなり日本の技を研究しているように思います。日本が、その上を行くには合気道の技も取り入れたら良いと思うのですが。
