I remember watching this a long time ago, and having no idea what it meant. Now, over a year later, I've fully understood what this means, and I can't be happier. Good job!
Kinda funny thinking about how I've watched this so many times now that it's actually strongly competing with any multi million dollar streaming show for my time and attention.
And for me it won :)

This makes me feel glad that we are getting the biome sight potion in 1.4.4.
Wait hol’ up, I thought the last update already happened?
@@DialecticRed The last update was 1.2.
Then 1.3.
Then 1.4.
So... Yknow. The end is constantly moving. Every few months/years they get a bunch of cool ideas that they just HAVE to put in the game, and...so, they do.
@@DialecticRed well you see we originally were going to get the final update, but then they decided that they're doing a dont starve cross over as the second final update, then they did a small update (i cant even remember what 1.4.3 added), and then we have the labor of love final update since they finally got the steam reward after a decade of development
@@Gamersoul333 i thought 1.4.3 was the dont starve cross over
@@DialecticRed it did, but then Terraria won the “Labor of Love” award on steam last year, so the devs decided to do a QoL update. They’ve been taking requests on Twitter for all sorts of things. They’re even planning on things like increasing item stacks to 9999 and implementing an actual use for the Angel Statue!
Damn, your animations are POPPING OFF and you deserve EVERY last bit of it homie! :D your animations are so clean and fluid, n colorful! ❤️💛💚keep up the brilliant work!
I love how you can see how his clothes are just breaking and deterring over the time of trying to clear out the corruption
God your animations are so smooth and entertaining to watch
If only they had a nice Brazilian beverage to cool off after trying to clear the corruption
Your animations are so detailed and smooth. The dryad is DEFINITELY getting back at the player.
This resonates with me so hard, reminds me of the time I was frantically trying to clean the world after breaking too many demon altars

It's such a cool detail that the hat is in pristine condition at the beginning, but slowly becomes more tattered!
It’s nice how you try to transition the music as smoothly as possible.
Your Terraria animations are actually incredible.
I'm so glad I saw them.

This is my favorite incarnation for the dryad design. It’s nice. Also this video is fantastic omg

I just love the spin animation here for seemingly no reason. Great work!
I love how the dryad keeps that corrupted block so he can buy more stuff to clear out the corruption.
Also, this is relatable af.
She’s holding corruption hostage
She has mastered capitalism.
Of course, she had to extend the deal to the steampunker once the player got the clentaminator.
But the steampunker sells the green solution for the clentaminator.
@@2MeterLP and gives a cut of the profits to the dryad for keeping that single block around thus necessitating you buying a lot of green solution!
Im paranoid now of my own Dryad...
It's been a year since this animation came out and I was waiting so much for another one like this since then, thanks for your effort on these animations, I love them.
Not planning things out in animation can actually be a good thing. Felix Colgrave, for one, never really scripts his animations, which gives opportunity to create visuals that cannot be comprehensively described by words.
Ah yes Felix, truly a master of arts, i certainly dont know of what arts especially but he nails it spot on
it's a case by case thing i think. personally i could not imagine animating without at least a rough storyboard for most things just bc i need the structure to plan around but for individual scenes doing frame forward animation is better than pose to pose or things like that
Let me doubt
I like how their hat is more damaged every time they come back to check their progress.
Haha yeah thats a nice touch
Yo I need that pair of eyes and level of perception you have.
This is so smooth and the art style is so good as well ❤
These animations are fantastic I love all the little accurate details and the characterization, well done. Edit - song choice is great as well, very fitting.
I love all of your animations. It's always so fluid and clean, with tons of personality. I can't wait to see more!
This channel is perfect at telling such fleshed out stories with few characters and short animations.
Honestly the animation this man makes is the best I've seen in a while
Everything is very fluid, you can see the time spent into it
Where did you find that pfp? a friend of mine has the same exact pfp
@@Galeboy yo i have it since I made my account in 2018
I think it was like a wallpaper in one of those wallpaper apps. And I guess I liked it so much I put it here too
Your animation just keeps getting better!
This is an accurate representation of making your world non corruption/crimson 😂 also hopefully the player in this video has built home in the desert for the steampunker and has the discount card and a money farm because taking on this task is really really hard, I know form experience so good luck and hopefully you have a great day! 😁
I can’t express how much I love everything about this animation.
I once had flat horizontal tunnels running the whole width of the world, each tunnel about 40 blocks above the next. I just bought hundreds of cleaning solution and ran the whole length of each tunnel while continually shooting the clentaminator directly up or directly down. Completely purified everything 100%.
Haha that must have been full days of your life gone
Fun fact the reason a evil biome/ hallowed biome always stays 1% is so that the biome won't be permamently gone from the world being impossible to get back, i think.
@@xaracen7207 ok ok can I stop being @ now lol
@@StarWithAPencil But Is isn't That what we want?.
this 15 second animation is already better than 98% of every big cartoon/anime ever made
*Okay but is nobody talking about how cute the animation style is*
I have watched this so many times because of relatable this is and how enjoyable the animation is. Keep up the work.
To quote the Demolitionist: "Why purify the world when you can blow it up?"
1.4.4: *released*
Infection Visibility Potion:😈😈😈
You are really good at craming a ton of information into your animations and telling these small stories. I love it. I want more but please don't overwork or force yourself to do them.
"Corruption is now at 0.0001%"
There sheer pain I felt from this is too real.
Nice animation mate.
My approach:
Save the jungle, everything else can get stuffed.
I can’t stop watching this. It’s so well made short Animation! ( Probably my favourite now )
You’re like the Santa of animators! You rarely arrive but when you do it feels magical!
Ho ho ho 🎅
This quickly becoming my new favourite animation, just because of the quality and sound mixing.
Dude I love how the player character has there equip items like the frogs legs on and showing what great attention to detail
So good animation, there is even small details, like his hat became more and more damaged, i love it
Well done. I can feel my rage for the dryad returning.
We all know the dryad is a capitalist looking to take every gold out of the players' pocket to sell them more powder.
The animation is so fluid and the music goes with it great, good job I hope you continue animating :)
You know the powder and “purification beam” can go through blocks, it will purify that last corruption at some point.
Yes, but why would he randomly start trying to purify the Dryad's house? And also the beam is quite limited
love your animation and art style, can't wait to see more!
Really amazing animation you got there! It perfectly conveys how it feels to deal with the corruption, the music adds the feeling of the panic and stress caused by trying to cleanse the world, and the movement is very fluid!
Not to mention there was quite a bit of creativity thrown in too
To everyone saying “I save the corruption biomes for materials”
I think it’s safe to say this video applies to people that BEAT the game
I save corruption biomes for the music
Chad
@@TwelveRats Chad
@@TwelveRats corruption music is amazing
There is no “beating the game” here, only expanding and getting more POWER, you lack a goal, so you leave once you vanquish the strongest foe, may I suggest creating a Biome Terrarium for every single biome? (Maybe also make a giant statue of your favorite NPC out of blocks you think they’d like? [plants for Florist, etc])
The goofy wacky music makes it better
The whole world will become corrupted because that one little speck
I generally just cover the main base and houses head to toe in hallowed, since it naturally fights against corruption and crimson, it's a great way to ensure your NPCs stay safe for the most part, plus it helps as a first response to any corruption showing up, since it's naturally isolated by the hallow
The Hallow is corruption too. Death to the Hallow!
@@asbeltrion never! I like my homicidal unicorns and blue grass! Death to the corruption!
Plus the Hallow doesn't spread into the jungle
@@CrustyFox87 Layer of Hallow around the Main base at X0, tiny layer of player-made jungle somewhere inside that, and just let the rest of the world fall for the sake of resources.

Not only the last block, but also Dryad's heart need to be purified
You would be pathetic to think she has one to begin with. 🤣
can we see the version where the player just says stfu instead of listening like most normal players
A madlad that animates in ones,
Love your animation
everyone's fine until that tiny cube infects the whole town
The Dryad knows that corruption can't spread through wood
wow and after players make it very difficult to find 1% xd always do in the Terraria game and many want to have the good accomplishments xd so everybody do it
Dyad:Ah, players never gonna find that one corruption block.
Player:YESS I ENTERED HARD MODE!!! Time to head back to my ba..............
As several people have pointed out, the Dryad dislikes living in the Desert. But why, though? (heads up: this is gonna sound a bit fetishistic, but whatever)
Imagine you're living on the skin of a beautiful being, such as Gaia. Not only can you sense and understand her, but you can also appreciate both her beauty and the beauty of the relatively microscopic flora and fauna that go unnoticed by her. For centuries, you tend to her, a silent protector against the evils of your scale. Despite her not even being aware of you, you've done as much as you can for so long, and truly love her in so many different ways.
Then some fuckass kid makes you live on her dandruff.
Not just a bit
Oh yeah and I don't think anyone wants to live in the desert during hardmode due to the dune splicers during the desert storms
@@asdgreersf Don't towns prevent enemy spawns though?
Didn't really sound fetishistic at all, just sounds like a more creative/metaphorical perhaps way of presenting it.
Not sure why there's a stigma against shit like this, you weren't even sexualizing it -- just using it to frame the situation.
@@ozvoid1245 Nope. I can assure you they do not.
