Anyone know what the serial number started out on these? I have one from '52 and the SN starts at 50,000, what yall think?? I know they didn't Make 50,000 in the first year!!
If a gun can be called "cute," this one fills the bill. I enjoy plinking at the range with mine, only once in a while. It does attract attention and questions, and everyone wants to try it. Mine has about the same reliability as yours, and I bought it new in 1975 or 76. 22 short around here is almost *TWICE* the price of LR!! SMH Thanks for the video!
Its cool to see these old guns and one with sentimental value. That said we truly live in the golden age of carry guns, there are so many small .380s and 9mm that work great in a small or micro format. I have a Bersa Thunder 380 and a Taurus G2C, they are my smallest guns and run great.
Wow!!! I have a 950 Minx I bought new in 1982 !!! If I recall it cost about one hundred dollars !!! Great RELIABLE little gun.
P.S....those "tabs" are the recoil recoil springs !!! Kind of an "omega" spring. Very unusual.

I have my dad's Colt Frontier Scout. It's not worth much in money.. but means the world to me! Especially now that he has passed.
I get it.
I have a 38 S&W 5 rounds short barrel from my father. He got it sice the late 50's. It works perfectly.
Cool
