Oh my goodness. I've been teaching my granddaughters to crochet and saw a pattern for popcorn, but no berries. I thought, well, I guess we could use beads but wasn't really happy about that idea. I kept searching and alas I found yours! I am so happy I kept looking. Your video is so much easier to understand and do, AND it has BERRIES! Thank you so much for making this video! I am definitely happy subscribing to your channel.
So fun I had leftover yarn from Christmas projects was making the little coasters the peppermint coasters and I found this pattern and I didn’t have it about a yard of red so I just made one Berry and one popcorn And strung them together with an index card with the instructions on them I have lots of white so I’ll probably make all the white popcorn balls and next time I buy some red I’ll add it to the bag to make the berries thank you so much for the tutorial I was looking for another one on Pinterest that you had published for a wreath now I’m going to find that next.
There are always options but that transforms the pattern into something different. If you meant the red berries, then you can just replace them with beads.
Made these from your pattern last year needed more yarn as I used left overs yarn so I found a boucle yarn by lion brand but still need to find a cranberry color thank you for sharing this tutorial.

What if I do not wish to do a bobble on the under part of chain ? Is there a alternative? (Too difficult for me.)

Hi do you know how many you need for a average sized christmas tree? I'm making one for my Nana
Oh gosh! I think you will have to make about 200 of them and start from there if you want them wrapped around the tree 🙈
So cute ! The stitch is called double crochet 4 together.
Thanks 😊
