Baroque needs another remake in the style of the original with the gameplay of the remake, but better-refined. Oh, and maybe a bigger emphasis on the story and atmosphere.

I was at Gamestop yesterday. I have PS 2 and Wii. I have been wanting to get this game, but can't decide what version to get: Wii or PS2 I almost bought both versions cause I couldn't decide. Help me: which is the better funner version?? I LOVE these Dungeon Crawler games.
its been an age since you posted this, but wii and ps2 are equal in everything, even graphics. That said, ps1 and saturn (and now switch: original mode) are better games outright. The wii/ps2 versions were heavily nerfed and had a lot of their story changed which made the entire experience incomprehensible.
i dont think so, i dont know too much about japanese but i have some base and i dont get it, not only because of the language , some mechanics are weird like i found some item that it said is the same but the efects are different, also some terms like the usual load and save are changed so its difficult to figure out which one is one or the other , but try it , its kind of cool just for the creepy old game horror ambient XP
...What? The only connection to Sega it had was it was also on the Sega Saturn, which was LONG before Sega's collapse. Go back to playing Halo 3, idiots. -Tabris

This is kinda cool, I like the new Baroque better but the old one looks way creepier, I'd get it if I could understand Japanese.

regardless of the console, i think the first person its more scary perhaps can put an option to switch views
